Scryptcloud.com - 100% Scam - Details inside...

As an addendum, any of you that are posting in the scriptcloud technical problem thread, your TXIDs and how much BTC was sent and the like, it would behoove you, even though I’m sure it’s painful, to look up that BTC trading value at the time and day you sent it.
This way we can get a fiat amount to work with in case whoever represents you speaks with law enforcement.

Also, if you have confirmation of the above why not contact KnC - I’m sure they would be interested to know a product was purchased with illicit funds?

Usually I try to avoid regretting things.
However, I deeply regret offering this chap encouragement and kind words.
looks like a clown as well. if anyone had seen a picture of him before sending money - no-one would have bought anything 100%.

What a croc!!!
I’m sorry to everyone affected. I’m personally going through a similar situation. People promise things they can’t deliver, have zero business plans, and think they can just walk away when they feel like it.
Currently working a small claims court issue, and thankfully an american express issue.
If anyone has used credit card to pay for any of these scams seek a chargeback!
Paypal i think has similar.
If you used dig currency, publish the addresses you sent them to, I’m certain there’s some smart minds out there that can track the money.

I just want to say thank you to mharrison79 for considering the forum and any legal implications in his making this information public.
I contacted him to discuss the ramifications for the forum of any personal information being posted in public, and he was extremely responsive and I am very glad that he took our points of view on board.
Thanks again mharrison, and I sincerely hope you are able to recover something from this situation.

lol a clever chap this one.
Im guessing he is clinging to the illusion that it was a project that you invested in that failed and then the money was lost. But as far as i know it was prepay of mining power, dissregarding risk of it.
I guess he never tried either (investing in gear etc)So i guess we can call this a pure scam/fraud.
And luckily bitcoin is recognised as an asset/value and are treathed in that manner.Anyone wanna file an police report on this?
I didnt invest (to many bells going off) and i dont live in the UK.
But ill gladly assist in any way. Maybe i can talk to KNCminer (swedish firm so i “speak” the correct language) -
I was rather skeptical of this and I didn’t sent any payments to him until he have delivered the first batch to the buyers.
Lucky me. ??? but I hope you guys can recover what you lost.
-
That’s so sad. Not just because I lost 0.55 btc also because I thought he was really reliable.
Thank you mhamilton, you have received a pm.

I feel like an idiot for offering this guy my help with his build, and ashamed that he is Irish !!!
We’re not all like that. -
i expect with KNC we will just simply find out that he never actually paid for a miner.
If anyone has received any emails directly from him can they please PM me the header contents of those emails? we might be able to get an ISP IP address or some more information from there depending on which smtp server he was using
Thank you

We’re not all like that.
That’s the thing though…do we really know for sure that he is Irish? I mean couldn’t he have used a VPN in Ireland and a fake address/identity?
Yes. It’s very possible. And should be likely unless he really didn’t think it through.
So that information would hinge on what he felt compelled to share with mhamilton79. If it had to do with domain transfer or something of the like it may not be correct, either. We’ll wait it out to see what spynappels or any other immediately involved admin directs in order to verify it the info is good or not.

Well…well…I don’t know what to say…I was afraid this might happen. Also, since there are (almost) no countries in the world who have clearly defined cryptocurrency, it might be difficult to prosecute this legally, but don’t give up on this guys! There must be a way…
you smelled a rat, and I guess were right.
If he was in my area I pay him a visit for you guys. Lets not let anyone getaway with ripping us off… Warning do not fuck around in NYC. #Feathercoinscamsquad -
A lawyer knocking on the door for stolen property is probably the best thing to do and succeed in getting refunds. This has to happen fast, since the ASIC is going to be shipped until Q2.
This. +1 rep.
Involve your lawyer. This is a LEGAL case. You have more than enough evidence to pursue a class action lawsuit. The lawyer has a much better understanding of what steps can be taken to retrieve your funds, and there’s a REALLY good chance you can find one who will do it pro-bono (without pay up front).
How? Reach out to the community. Post the story on bitcointalk.org. Go to reddit. Organize the damages in a google doc and link to it. Ask for legal assistance. Ask for a lawyer to get involved. Explain you’re just trying to get your money back, and you know where the person is (no need to spread that around, save it for the lawyer), and that he purchased things with the stolen money, and you have proof. Screenshot the forum posts. Archive the emails. Put it all into a wiki or a blog.
This is really upsetting and it’s a crappy thing to do but you are not helpless and there is recourse if you band together to make it happen.

I just contacted KNCMiner to let them know about the case, that the unit was purchased using illegal funds (scam/fraud), and that it might be an claim/police matter.
Urging them to be carefull about delivering goods until this dispute has been resolved.Ill let you guys know if i get an answer from them.
I do not expect em to be able to do anything, but if they can at least hold of on the goods til the proper legal actions have been made its a step in the right direction.
