Issues with PXC?

As Wesphily said, if you want to know info about Phenix Mike, ask him on their forums. Don’t fight among ourselves here - it’s crazy. We’re the good guys remember?Whilst all the concerns are valid (i feel some of them too) you need to direct them to the right place.
Their forums are almost dead, and going by their track record I am sure nothing will come out of it. Their PR is a shambles, as was their hard fork release. In fact, if one wants to find out how to do PR and implement a hard fork they do not have to look further than our very own Feathercoin.
That does not matter here. We are here for FTC, and if PXC does turn out to be a massive scam, we are big enough to survive. I have personally sold off PXC and will get back into FTC with that earnings when there is a dip in price.
Tempers seem to be running high here, so I would advise you all to take a deep breath and if you want to discuss further, do it nicely. We are all on the same team; and regardless of Justabit’s assertion I am sure all of us want only the best of FTC at heart (well, the best interests of our pockets at least, but lets not get into that ;D).
I would also like to add I like WDC too. They seem to be a great bunch, and just as confused as us.

What I’ve learned in the past weeks, Phenixcoin is much different to Feathercoin. We are a community driven currency with a high level of transparency and that’s the reason why we have become one of the major altcoins in just 3 months. Phenixcoin is driven by JohnCar and Mike Burns aka iamatrix. They decide what to do and how to do, the community doesn’t seem to matter much for them. Their personal interests are placed above the community. They put money into this project and want a decent ROI. Worth to mention here their 1 million pre-mine. If you invest into PXC, you put your fortune in their hands. They may succeed, they may fail, who knows. Some people are comfortable with it, some not.

It’s never too late to direct some of this positive energy towards worldcoin :D. My holdings are roughly 80% WDC, 20% FTC… originally 100% WDC, but I definitely see the value in Feathercoin, and I hope we can keep things together in a more positive approach. The PXC news is bad, but at the end of the day, they are all separate coins, and someones personal life from 10 years ago probably shouldn’t be the end for any coin. Having said that, I invite you guys to help show some worldcoin support and join the Worldcoin Foundation: www.worldcoinfoundation.org.
I plan to begin contributing more to the feathercoin community as well.
Thanks!

And, I am also absolutely against the promotion of sex slavery, abuse of woman and gambling, can we avoid that sh*t being associated with Feathercoin directly?
Two of those three are illegal, and are associated with violence and abuse towards a person. The third is just your personal preference. PhenixCoin IS associated with gambling, therefore UNOCS is associated with gambling, therefore Feathercoins is associated with gambling. Imposing your personal preferences on a free market is just discriminatory.
It’s just like me saying, “I am also absolutely against the promotion of gay rights, can we avoid that shit being associated with Feathercoin directly?”
[sup]For the record: I’m so gay-friendly I eat bigots for lunch and poop rainbows.[/sup]

He’s a Skittle-butt!

Got to agree with unkunku on this one.
-
First I want to thank unkunku for the informative post.
Next I want to address stuff about pxc community. The pxc website community is similar to alphacoins. So that sort of makes us the pxc community. I don’t want to be the pxc community.
Also, I want to point out that most people who seem upset in this thread are upset because they feel their concerns are being dismissed. That’s making them upset and if some people can’t handle questions then they need to get out of the PR game. I dislike Jay Carney but that man takes abuse like no other on a daily basis with far worse and loaded questions then any of us have asked. However for the community I do not want someone like Jay Carney running PR because he doesn’t answer anything and dismisses almost all questions.
With all of this said… Wesphily stated that pxc is not us. We don’t have to be a part of this because UNOCs is a separate entity. We are the feathercoin community.
I also believe any “integration” should not be mandatory. I believe the concept is great but crypto-currencies are decentralized and should stay that way. Which my understanding currently points to how this is all working out. If its not please someone correct me.

Choices were made by the team, I’m not here to justify it. I’m shifting quite a bit of focus to their team to help assist in development and strategic planning:http://forum.phenixcoin.com/index.php/topic,126.0.html
In the end, do I believe they are good choice for investors? Yes… I’m putting my money and time where my mouth is… I plan to continue to drop 5 figures fiat on coinage as well as shifting all my miners in that direction. I know the potential and fairly confident I can help get them headed in the right direction.
In 3 months for now, I’d hate to not be an investor. I could be wrong, however, I like my chances.

I continue to push Feather as well, I have follow-up emails to do tonight with people I met at the Bitcoin Conference.
Bolded for emphasis given your recent withdrawal from all of your FTC holding as you claim.

I do hope not too many people got burned by this whole thing, I lost a few quid but unlike some I only invest what I can afford to lost… I doubt 100% of investors think the same.
I suppose there is still 1.5 months to wait :) maybe it will bounce back huge lol -
Ha, this post has me crying with laughter, you sound almost annoyed that justabit cashed in his chips,
didn’t you do the same smoothie, http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?topic=3692.msg28380#msg28380 it seems the game is too much for you to handle also. Well I guess you can’t pluck feathers without scaring some chickens. -
Your correct Tony, people are idiots if they invest X amount of cash into something and don’t expect to lose the invested amount.
The same doom and gloom was about the last time FTC went under .0001 btc, a lot of scared people started panic selling, only for it to double a week later, of course most people have very short memories, FTC spent a lot of time at .00005 btc during the summer.
In any case only invest what you can afford to lose, then you can only win. ;D
