The membership fees and donations will allow us to pay for continued coin support, projects, legal & licensing fees, etc… Individual members have their names displayed proudly, and corporate members have their company logo displayed, as well as a link to their website:

If the price drops to a point where it’s not profitable for even asic miners, you will see people turning of rigs, which in turn will decrease the difficulty until the point it’s profitable to mine again. I understand your concerns, I just don’t personally think it’s going to be an issue.

I apologize for taking so long to float over to the Feathercoin forums, but I’m excited to be here now, and look forward to helping Worldcoin and Feathercoin succeed as a team. I cannot give out details yet, but we have addressed the insanely fast proposed inflation rate from the original patch announcement. I can tell you that it won’t be nearly as steep. I won’t make the mistake of giving an exact time for this information to be officially released, but we are aiming for this upcoming week.

Well ASIC’s don’t use much electricity compared to their hashing power, and you’re assuming the price doesn’t go up (yes, it could go down too, but it won’t die). That’s one of the beautiful things about ASIC, sure it sucks it snuffed out all of us GPU miners, but long term security and transactions are now secured. I see the long term future of Bitcoin as a great investment.

It’s not necessarily unsafe, the sellers hold the bigger risk IMO, but that aside, they charge way too much on ebay for crypto currency. If you can find a feathercoin member that’s in the USA, coinbase (only 1% fee) is now instant once you have tier 2 verification. Coinbase > BTC >FTC, fastest way to get it done. Just make sure you trade with a USA member you really know and trust.

Mr. Gudmunsn and myself are the creators of www.worldcoincentral.com. If there is enough demand in the feathercoin community, I don’t see why we cannot add FTC, or perhaps duplicate the site for feathercoin. Your market looks great as well, perhaps WDC could be added :D.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

It’s never too late to direct some of this positive energy towards worldcoin :D. My holdings are roughly 80% WDC, 20% FTC… originally 100% WDC, but I definitely see the value in Feathercoin, and I hope we can keep things together in a more positive approach. The PXC news is bad, but at the end of the day, they are all separate coins, and someones personal life from 10 years ago probably shouldn’t be the end for any coin. Having said that, I invite you guys to help show some worldcoin support and join the Worldcoin Foundation: www.worldcoinfoundation.org.

I plan to begin contributing more to the feathercoin community as well.
