Didn’t they intend to sell/buy Feathercoins, too?
Currently they show, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin and Quarkcoins…
-
Hey Wellenreiter, yup, we’re on there, check the drop down list :)
-
Just spoke to Marc at Bitty and currently this service is only available to Bitcoin, he has said he will roll feather out within the next couple of days :) - so watch this space.
-
We tried to drum up donations for my music related forum using cryptocurrency because people said it was too complex a process. I hope this might make it easier.
I wonder how they plan to deal with chargebacks though??
-
Euro only too?
-
Chargebacks: We only accept cards with 3D Secure enabled which helps us an awful lot.
Euro only: I’m afraid so, but most credit cards will let you buy stuff in Euros anyway. In the next few weeks we should be accepting British pounds and in fact, this evening, the test environment for pounds is being activated.

Ahh, fantastic.
-
Good news!
And what about an european resident living in japan and paying with a japanese card?? -
Wow bit of a price jump today tho!
FTC are £1 a pop.
-
With a minimum purchase of 350 feather coins.
-
Hey Wellenreiter, yup, we’re on there, check the drop down list :)
If you are in the UK, yes.
When I select ‘EU’, there is no FTC shown…
-
Originally we needed someone in Europe to sell FTC which by the sounds of it we do not yet, from what you’re saying Wellenreiter Doge, Quark, Bit and Litecoin do, the same stands for purchase with credit cards too, so yes although Bitty has opened his services to Europe by credit card I do not think you can purchase FTC yet.
We’re looking into it. :)

Good news!
And what about an european resident living in japan and paying with a japanese card??Sorry, the card needs to be enrolled in the 3D Secure scheme, which I believe is just for European cards.
-
Mmm… I was expecting something like that
Well… will see if I can still get an italian card

Bittylicious has become irrelevant to Feathercoin the moment they included a number of copycat coins in there. At the moment, they do not sell the idea of Feathercoin being special, which it is, but the idea of it being equal to a myriad of crapcoins.
-
Thanks for that, panoramix. So the fact that there are other coins on there means somehow that Bittylicious has no more relevance to Feathercoin? I fail to understand your reasoning.
I’m glad that the rest of the community knows that forming good relationships, like the relationship between Feathercoin and Bittylicious, is a good thing and key to growing a prosperous coin like Feathercoin.
-
Its a market supply and demand I think the fact FTC is on bittylicious is fantastic both for the sellers , the buyers and the coin as a whole.
I heard you on radio 4 the other day. It was a great interview and I noticed you gave Feathercoin a special mention thanks for that. I think there are some worried people who are lashing out and your getting a little bit of the backlash. Please don’t take it personally I’m sure most know how important bittylicious is for the coin and crypto as a whole in the UK.
-
I’m glad someone realised that I mentioned Feathercoin (and this was obviously entirely intended - Bittylicious accepts a fair few coins but Feathercoin is great, and “local”).
It’s a shame that people like panoramix seem to want to burn their bridges. Of course I won’t let it get to me, but some other partners might not be so understanding.
-
Marc, without a doubt we are grateful with what you offer for feathercoin.
What Kris_Davison has said in his post he echoes how Bush and I feel and I’m sure many other members of Feathercoin Community too :)
