The money, or risk, or your conscience is not worth it. If it was me, I’d try to organise people, choose a “leader” or two to pursue the matter, give them a cut of your debt, and give them time and means to pursue it with such pressure that the pressure and bad reputation will overtake possible gains. For 40k$ (that is what I read the total sum is) I don’t think someone will risk being labeled as a fraud his entire life, and if that is not the intention, maybe you can come with an agreement how to reimburse the debt, in installments if necessary. Insults, threats, etc, will not get this matter to a good territory.
