I think FTCLover is not a scammer , he only have difficulties sorting thing out , I will wait patiently for the mining to begin or for the refunds :P
-
So, here is exactly what has happened:
I came up with the idea to sell mining contracts for these rigs, I was hoping to make enough bitcoin to cover the cost of the equipment in pre-orders like every other company taking pre-orders, but I didn’t take enough to cover the cost of the whole operation, so now I’m panicking and trying to come up with excuses because the bitcoins are no longer in my possession, I can however exchange what I have for bitcoin over the next week or so… I did not start this project as a scam whatsoever, I never intended to upset anyone, but I am a good man and I will pay everyone back over the next couple of months out of my wages if I have too! I’m sorry for making such a balls of it but I messed up and I want to fix it!
So please give me just a few days to get this sorted out! I will speak to anyone who would like to talk via skype:

First of all, I am starting the mining, second its less than 10,000 euro in total and 3rd some of you are claiming to have purchased contracts with me but actually have not.I will have pictures tonight of the first miner, may it be small but I will buy more, payouts will begin for batch one 7 days from now, I was annoyed with Mr. Hamilton for threatening me and thats why I said the things I said, I will make a new thread for the picture proofs shortly…
And there has been no wire fraud here…
You can contact me on skype:
Don’t make me laugh now - ask for for money - let your customers wait 1 day more, 1 week more, 1 month more - delete your personal info the webs. Yup you’re doing great!
-
What hardware have you bought so far? Perhaps its sell-able, then do the refunds and put it down to experience.

I do hope you keep your word. Some of us don’t really have the funds to loose. I personally have just had the birth of my first child and the 400ish FTC I paid you would come in very handy right about now to cover some costs…

I am not trying to buy more time, that is exactly what happened, I will post a full list of everyone I owe bitcoins too in about 5 minutes!
At this point, considering what is said in the OP, I’d say it’s a strong chance he is and whatever he’s saying is for trying to buy time.
You just need to choose what is believable. Remember that him posting a picture of a one machine mining is not proof. It’s just a PC mining. Most people have a PC that can mine when it comes to crypto’s as a hobby.
From my point of view (still not invested, still don’t care) MrHamilton79 has very little reasons to lie while FTClover should be thinking very fast and very carefully at this point and best he can do is trying to buy time.
+1
Gotta say this as it stand smells like buying time.
Soo you got alot of BTC from pre purchase of hashing power, didn’t you use any of it for actually buying the hardware?
In case you did, please post picture of the merchandise with your nickname written on a note (proof that its your picture), i do expect to see the hardware that you listed on the website and not some home computer with a geforce card :P
In case you didn’t, then what you have done is considered a fraud. You got money for a project, then went and spent the money on something else. As stated earlier in this thread that is seen upon as fraud by the government.I do hope you will start refunding people asap.

Yeah I’m not that smart, I had no idea what else to do… but I do want to resolve it…
Before this becomes a shitstorm, then, you need to itemize a priority list.1. You’re claiming that people are claiming to have paid you that haven’t, well, alright. Based on the info you gave from the start and what you allocated where, all you need to do is post the transaction list from what amounts you got from what addresses. If it matches the amount you originally claim to have sold we can compare those against the addresses of the claimants.
2. Go into that thread that deals with technical issues. click here, but make summary posts after every few contributions to it to verify who paid and who didn’t. While there, see who wants to stick with you or who is requesting a refund. Separate these into two lists.
3. The list of people wanting to stick with you will be smaller. Allocate what hardware was supposed to be allocated to them and focus on getting that running. Better yet, call on one of these locals with experience to come and assist if they’re willing. This gives you instant physical credibility and can back up what you’re saying now while they can focus on at least getting the hardware up (doesn’t have to be pretty) while you deal with these paperwork issues. I will throw $30 of FTC to whatever experienced member in good standing here that’s willing to travel up to you in order to make that happen. Anyone that wants to contribute to that is encouraged, but whatever, it’s what I got allocated for stuff like this. Mind you, I don’t even have a vested interest in this at all. But I do care about what happens with FTC branding and alongside it to support you, even if indirectly, if you stay and maintain legitimacy.
4. The list of who wants out, if you have additional equipment beyond what took care of of who seeks to stick with your program, prepare to sell those. It would be my preference that you list them on the Feathercoin Market or Coingig or whatever and instead of putting in one of your addresses for the receive, one of our forums’ escrow people uses one of their addresses to verify deposit. This makes it double escrow. This will be good to keep anyone else from doubting your motives.
5. That’ll get you back to a manageable position. Go.

Just thumbs up!

I’d like to see:
A: Pics of hardware.
B: Copies of receipts [that we then can verify].
C: I think FTClover needs to get in touch with an admin and verify identity - privately. This is going to be a messy situation - but it can go much more smoothly if we re-establish trust. My only opinion is that this can be done through hard, irrefutable evidence. If you can prove who you are, and that you did in fact purchase said hardware and your story does check out - I’m sure you will have an easier time to deal with this situation. It might mean doing some scanning and privately PM’ing some ID’s to an admin, but it will be the minimum required to not get sucked into a possibly tedious legal process.
I agree. I’ve PM’ed him twice, as has ChrisJ, and sent an email, but have not received any reply.
You can keep this friendly like, or you can go the legal route. If you go the legal route, it’s going to be costly and unpleasant for everyone, especially Shane. If Shane wants to keep that off the table, working with a trusted community member is a very good idea. I’m volunteering my assistance in the matter, as is ChrisJ.
I offered you the chance to pay me back the £2000+ in 4 installments of £500 - you refused, you have also never approved my skype request. I have even said i will buy all the equipment you purchased for an amount less what you have received in bitcoin, and then i will honor everyone’s contracts, I will even take a refund of what you owe me in hardware. I have offered to travel to you and help you set them and even host them in my server room. What other way i am supposed to offer you a chance to sort this out?

FTClover or shane if what you say is true then answer back to kevlar or chris and start to let experience people helping you resolve the problem… please let resolve it fast it will be beneficial for every body
thank you -
I will happily give any trusted member of this forum 0.50 BTC if they are prepared to travel to Shane to verify his operations. I will also knock off a further 0.50 btc from Shane’s liability to me if he allows this to happen (currently 3.6 BTC).
For me personally, regardless of if this is legit or not (i very highly doubt it) I want a refund. I do don’t business in this way and don’t want to be associated with any company that does.
The question everyone should be asking is what did he do with the money he was sent? He told me in an email he invested the bitcoins i sent him into his KNC miner. i purchased my contracts on the 19th January, at that point he allegedly was supposed to have already paid for the KNC miner. Remember he posted his purchase receipt way before that date (the receipt showed he ordered on the 16th January). If he did not order it and pay for it by that date then he has obtained money from everyone here by deception, which is a crime
Also at the point i paid him he was supposedly waiting delivery of all the hardware for batch one, and already ordered and paid for all hardware in batch 2.

This is sad, people in this forum are very very nice, trusting and trustworthy, very sad to read something like this. I recently switched jobs and country, so I cant participate actively, but this is a really nice community I once hope to be a part of.
This sad, I don’t think any threats, violence or illegall stuff is the right approach here. The money, or risk, or your conscience is not worth it. If it was me, I’d try to organise people, choose a “leader” or two to pursue the matter, give them a cut of your debt, and give them time and means to pursue it with such pressure that the pressure and bad reputation will overtake possible gains. For 40k$ (that is what I read the total sum is) I don’t think someone will risk being labeled as a fraud his entire life, and if that is not the intention, maybe you can come with an agreement how to reimburse the debt, in installments if necessary. Insults, threats, etc, will not get this matter to a good territory.
Also, I’m no sure why some of you parted with couple of k$ to somebody you don’t know, no written contracts, no identity validation… the investment could be done incrementally, with receipts, and pics of hardware, maybe a chosen forum hero could have visited the premises… If it was me offering cloud hashing, I’d do all that’s necessary to provide validity to the project. Miners are usually not rich, and invest their hard earned cash, that is to be respected.
I think one person made a comment and “hashtagged” it like a joke. I ignored it, there’s no reason to pursue vigilante actions because it is likely that, failing a full rectification and honest communication from here on out, the legal route is very capable of handling the situation.
