It’s not like I can quantify my efforts but I will definitely vouch for the coin and the strong team behind it, on BTC-e.com.Especially since the recent craze of BTC in the last few days FTC / LTC are buyers markets more than ever. 7c per FTC coin, bargain! I was wary of alt coins just being cheap introductions for a quick profit but I’m glad I took a leap of faith with LTC / FTC and will hold :P
What made me fall in love with Feathercoin from the beginning was the sheer will to survive among the people on the forum here. Everyone just wants to help out and be part of its success even if there are set backs in the short term. I don’t think any other coin has this kind of spirit.

Just posted my first item on the Marketplace. (Hopefully first of many) If it sells I think my wife will be convinced and put all items onto the market. (as sweetems.co.uk is her web store)
Awesome! 20ftc for you=)
Now if people only could do international trading=P sucks to live in Norway… ;)
-
We would love to but I think the shipping costs would be crazy.
I will look into it. I believe parcel force may allow international shipping of perfume/aftershave etc. But im not 100% sure Royal Mail have them on the Prohibited Items list for international postage because they are flammable.thanks Kris

I know it’s not much, but I’ve been talking with some folks at work (we’re in IT and we all have access to cheap-ish components or have gaming/high end systems) and discussing BTC versus scrypt mining. I big up FTC at every opportunity and a few folks are interested.
Think i’ve persuaded 2 people to try mining FTC so far.
Will update with more once I have it!
My FTC address is 6yAt3cd6zvcS39NSVUMjoBVZqJeTWrphNY if you think my efforts are useful!

Hell yeah! ;)
Wow wasn’t expecting that donation - thanks alot!
I know it’s slightly off topic, but my feeling is the market place is going to be the best accelerant/starting point. Think it will be a slow grower but worth the initial effort and maintenance.

Hopefully, you will have guessed, I am always promoting Feathercoins and telling people to look into alt currencies, its the next big thing!.
Most people thought I was “Madbitcoins” But the promotion is just started to pay back as the news has covered more about alternative currency, I am gaining a lot of nerd cred…
I’ve also done a lot on the forum, bug found in p2pool, long term miner.

Hi Svennand, what a pleasant surprise. Thanks.
-
I thought you guys might be interested, and will post further if it comes off. I’m also taking unofficial donations the ftc anyway, as we have a website and posters as small costs to pay for…
There is large development in my village that a lot of us are fighting. I’m on the committee and have been helping with some of the stuff. I’ve left the email exchange. Its the user large developer wangling a grant to build a school in the middle of a stream, to land swap the schools premium housing site, thus by passing all the planning rules.
Here’s the web site we set up in a week … http://www.savediggle.org.uk/index.html
Mike is one of our local councillors (Liberal) who has helped organise the “no” action committee.

Hi T,
Sounds interesting.
How do we spend the money?
Mike
Hi Mike
At the moment there aren’t many exchanges (in the UK) , so I would buy
them at the exchange rate. We call $ and £, FIAT currency in the crypo
world.
I would be a local exchange.Just up to £30 Paul and Sam spent. See how we go further on, to finance
the poster etc. There are ways round exchanging, finding them could
also bring further publicity. Its very bleeding edge, so we would be pioneers, but that’s why it
might bring wider publicity / interest.T.

Plus one rep franfj Well done its not easy getting others interested as there is a lot of scepticism about.

Well I study computer engineering in Spain and I’ve already told my girlfriend and some of my colleagues of mining FTC, and 2 of them are really interested.I hope they join us soon, hopefully I can persuade even more colleagues/friends :)
