Uploaded NeoScrypt CUDAminer v1.0.1. It supports Kepler (GK110) in addition to Maxwells and Pascals. The original Titan, Titan Black, Titan Z, GTX 780 Ti and GTX 780. Keplers were never energy efficient, so the hash rate is about 400KH/s for 200W TDP. Well, it works at least.

The only thing i don’t like regardless is when people ask questions like they are proving a point. Right under my skin. Is bitcoin the new toulip? c’mon give me good fundamental ideas, concepts, backing data, definitions. Oh well, guess being an early adopter has its risks/rewards as well as frusterations and lauging moments.

I was going to post the same thing. I never bought anything with USD from btc-e but it was nice that I could trade all the coins Im interested in on a single site (BTC, LTC, FTC, XPM). This move will probably push me away from btc-e all together.

My understanding is that once proceedings against Ulbright are finished, they will sell the Bitcoins at whatever price.

And since they’re not so smart, it’s either going to be a public dump, or an auction that’ll go to some very rich individual.

Cryptsy is so incredible buggy. I am afraid to do any business with them anymore. mcxNOW has another problem. It’s a one man army, as good as his software is (and it’s excellent), Realsolid could get hit by a bus next week.

But I see your point, it’s probably a good idea for cryptsy to offer up shares. It can do nothing but good for the community. Imagine if NASDAQ had a fee sharing system…

Nothing new here, the same old game. Someone has dumped 400K PPC today at BTC-e dipping the price to 0.00170 and bought into USD. That’s more interesting.

As of now the new series do not perform considering price range. Will need a fixed cgminer to optimize it for the new series it seems.
The 290x should push around 1Mhash with some tweaking, but its far from that with 7-800khash

Your correct Tony, people are idiots if they invest X amount of cash into something and don’t expect to lose the invested amount.

The same doom and gloom was about the last time FTC went under .0001 btc, a lot of scared people started panic selling, only for it to double a week later, of course most people have very short memories, FTC spent a lot of time at .00005 btc during the summer.

In any case only invest what you can afford to lose, then you can only win. ;D

Just doing some analysis, I already uploaded to “suspect addresses”, it might be relevant, that manipulating the difficulty is an aim. A group of solo miners could deliberately effect the difficulty, by mining and stopping, then re-entering with a “proportionate” hash rate when the difficulty goes down, they get a greater proportion of blocks than if they had mined consistently.

Looking at the lack of correlation between difficulty and block rate would indicate to me, there is another factor controling the block rate and difficulty.

In some ways I wish it was me just being paranoid!

It’s been over a year with the bitcoin ASICs and the only ASIC readily [b]affordable AND available[/b] to someone right now (like buy now and get in a few days) is a USB block erupter at 333 M/hash. They still have not ironed out the whole process to make them readily available to any consumer, even though tens of millions of dollars have been poured into their businesses.

GPUs are readily available and affordable and that evens the playing field for all miners.
