Cool. My EVGA cards that don’t need plugs came with DVI- to VGA ones that I can mess with.

Solid. I don’t think it would be that hard, you don’t need to start with the API, just a basic web form and an off the shelf CMS like Drupal would do the job. I’d certainly love a site to check on which pool people like best!

This is good info to keep on hand. As for unlocking the voltage, I was a bit turned off by it and worried that I’d bork the ROMs on these cards until I followed that process ([url=http://www.cryptobadger.com/2013/10/undervolting-in-linux-via-modified-bios/]http://www.cryptobadger.com/2013/10/undervolting-in-linux-via-modified-bios/[/url]) and found out how easily it’s done. And very, very effective.

Finally moved the rig out to the garage to take advantage of the sub-freezing temps outside and only now begun tweaking settings. Running at a thread concurrency of 8192 and intensity of 13 I’m getting 675 at 70deg C without even trying hard. Seeing your guide I think I need to bump TC to 21000whatever or something, see if that works.

BUT I’M MUCH RECEIVING MANY DOGE AT THE MOMENT AND DON’T WANT TO TAKE THE DOWNTIME or whatever

i am unaware of smos. i will look into it. shsh wont give me a gui. But if windows 8 provides support for 6 cards i will probably take that route. I like the power of cgwatcher to keep my mines alive.

yea i bit the bullet and ordered the parts last night. This will put me at 3 rigs total plus a 5850 (unless i shove it into on of the 3). i have the power with 1500 watt power supplies. Thanks for the support and I think at worst i will break even.

what does it teach? that mining BTC is more effort and overhead than what you actually make back after expenses? or is that just a myth?
