Let it run for a while. you see the HW on those pictures you sent me? The HW: 0 part… if the 0 goes up thats a hardware error. Normally 7970s cannot go beyond -I 13 without getting tons of these.

Can you copy and paste your cgminer window? I have to see it to believe your are at -I 20 without any HW errors

read this link with what RIPPEDDRAGON did with his 7970s (280x) cards. This might be something to look at too considering how rare 7950s are becoming. If you have a 1500 watt psu you can squeeze 5 - 6 into one rig if this is correctly tuned.

We don’t have to switch unless needed, if everyone knows we can and will switch that might be deterrent enough for the short term.

We are the same hash as litecoin. Its just as easy to point those asics over to feathercoin as it is to litecoin… add multipools to the mix then we will have troubles.

Can someone please explain why people would rent my rig for more than I would normally make if i put it in a cloud? Im reading into this but i just dont get it at all. Is anyone actively doing this and have any advice to give?

I asked for offers. But i think ~$200 for the 280x / 7970 and ~$170 for the 7950 is reasonable.

So I ordered my 2 openrigs on December 1st 2013. They came in this past weekend… 2 days before my first scrypt asic. I must say the entire experience was a nightmare.

Okay, so I’ve had my equipment for 4 days now and UGH.

Apparently I’m supposed to be using Windows for these things because of overclocking ability, but I have had ZERO luck trying to get Win7 Ulti on a flash drive, much less using that to install to another flash drive.

I tried using Xubuntu like I always do and it installed fine but then crapped the bed when booting for the first time, an error that streamed down the loading screen that had to do with the problem of NVidia devices in linux and a driver issue.

I’m going to yoink some 20GB satas out of my 360 drives tomorrow and then try to find an optical drive of some sort to do the install.

I hate wasting time like this.
