No, theres allready created an own thread for each of the Weekly news.
The problem is that people see Weekly news, and if they are not allready into feathercoin or invested and have an stake in it. They dont bother to read it.

Not hide it, tucked away in the Weekly news.
This combined with channeling normal chat in to the feathercoin official thread to keep it on top would certainly be an step in the right direction

I agree with that. I think most new entrants in to this scene aren’t really in to forums so we could have separate announcements under the News section in the on the main site then schedule out tweets and facebook posts for the different timezones. We can do forum post as well and link it to it, it’s to make sure it gets full exposure.
A lot of this is about getting the right sequence of activities. Back when Mark worked so hard on the wallets there just wasn’t the demand from the public, most of the demand was just speculative and people were flipping coins on exchanges. Now the crypto scene has become more embedded in the minds of regular folk I think they are doing their research and unlike the early adopters they are looking for coins that align with their values rather than technical innovation.
So if we’re all game we should try pushing again for some of that early work that Svenn and UKMark and Nutnut did, if they are up for it.

That part is dead as far as i know. I havent talked to Ukmark in ages, and i think we agreed that the wallet was to risky investment.

With price so low it might be worth to invest some $ and time into FTC and bring the glory back from depths of time ;)
There was lot of good work acomplished already far way more than most of shitcoins can dream of.
Just a bit of propagation and consistency is needed.

I am very glad I am small part of this comunity since the beginnig.
Until theres some changes in an positive direction im not gonna recommend any of my friends to invest. So im not gonna go screaming on forum for people to pump/invest their money either.
I think there needs to be alot more than some propagation and consistency. Theres the Feathercoin ATM in the mix, which is an great feature for sure. But what else?
What is beeing done at this very moment? I remember 6months back how entusiastisk alot of people was and new ideas/directions where talked about, but non really got realised.
Just saying, and no im not the one to point fingers, what the hell have i ever done for feathercoin myself? Nothing really except thinking :P

I might be wrong, Ive not been on the feathercoin forum much lately, usually browsing on bitcointalk, And therefore arent enlighten about the latest development for feathercoin.
I do know a load about myriadcoin,darkcoin,microcoin,Dogecoin,Aidencoin and so on though, which kinda underline my whole point earlier.
Im not gonna get into an “new algo” discussion. Allready said my case on skype. And i dont think people liked my opinion.

FTC did good job not only ATM, add Hullcoin, prostate cancer initiative, market, link and so one.
Due to bad marketing I see tremendous potential vasted.
But that could be easily changed.

Been away (except from an occationally 2sec dropby) doing other RL stuff and focusing on the bigger crypto picture.
Only to return an see that everything seems to be at kinda standstill. Another couple of months people wont any longer know what feathercoin is at all
Mining section seems to contain mostly pools trying to recruit miners, doesnt seem to be any miners there anymore. But why would them, even most of the core team dont mine feathercoin anymore
(Still not trying to go into an algo discussion)
Newbie section seems to have more spam/commercial than newcommers.
and in general looking over the thread it seems its generally the core people that discuss everything. Small to none new blod with entusiasm and the devotion to bring feathercoin further.
