All Leads and Moderators Please Read - Leads Meeting

I would like to call for a leads meeting sometime early next week. As leaders of this Feathercoin community, we need to come together to discuss the following:
- What is being done about the attacks
- What’s our upcoming priorities in the next week, 2 weeks, month, 3 months
- What needs to be communicated back to the teams
- Any ideas or concerns
Obviously it’s a challenge coordinating schedules of a group scattered throughout the world. If we need to hold 2 meetings, I’ll be more than welcome to host each.
Personally, I don’t care if it’s IRC or Skype. Whatever works for the group, is fine by me. Please let me know:
1. If you’re interested in attending
2. What days work best for you
3. What’s your location/timezoneJohn

I’m interested in attending, any workday after 18:00(CEST) if it’s via ‘talking/skype’ or if it’s via IRC by ‘chatting’ i’m more flexible. I can’t attend next Monday and Tuesday since i’m in Switzerland doing a IT-audit. So my timezone is CEST (It’s 10:26 in the morning at the time of posting)

I would like to call for a leads meeting sometime in the next 72 hours. I’ll touch base with Bushstar tomorrow morning and propose a few times that works for the group.
IRC for me. I am doing my best to keep a creative atmosphere in this time of massive bullshit. The last thing we need right now is a bunker mentality. We need to find our strengths and talents and build, not vote on how to vote about the vote on voting.
Every community has an origin story, like superheroes. The origin story hangs as a shadow over the community and is sometimes even invisible to community members. If it’s a booster to the community (self-motivated, independent, excited, humble), even as a constant nagging voice, it drives the community forward. If it’s a drain on the community (perfectionism, bureaucracy, passivity, indifference), then eventually the community becomes prematurely predictable and vulnerable to trolls, spammers, scammers, wannabe revolutionaries.
Even a healthy community has stagnant periods, but we can take those in stride.
How we react to all these attacks is going to mark our evolution forever. If we add defenses, great. If we add cumbersome deterrents, then we’ve given up. We need to respond to these attacks with ideas not fears. We are a community creating solutions, not a pretty little clone coin. We can go anywhere we want with our software because we don’t have to satisfy every philosophical point, just the stuff that matters. We are not bound to cointalk. We have the entire Internet and the streets at our fingertips if we want them.
