Wow, that’s actually big news. It will be interesting to see how it pans out.
Bushstar was sure this would not be good for Feathercoin, early on when Coblee made the same offer. We should keep an open mind that things can change.
I am intrigued to see how this would work in detail, you can’t simply apply a hash from Litecoin to Dogecoin as it is made from the transactions that will be happening and the previous block in the (Litecoin) chain.

I really like doge and I hope this is just a temporary slip streaming to catch their breath. Security should be their priority over pride and it will give them more time to propose the correct long term solution. Especially when you are being warned/threatened.
