199577 of 470000 Blocks

This seems a bit odd.
Feathercoin’s info bubble over the syncing icon says it has 199577 of 470000 blocks.
Also have exchanges and pools been notified of the changes?

I expect that is picking up another network. We still have to change the pchMessageStart which needs to be handled very carefully or we could end up with a split network. Now I am back in the UK I will use the alert system to get people to upgrade and will send out direct messages to pools and exchanges.

I am not noticing this. Mine says:
Up to date. Processed 199686 blocks of transaction history.I am using v0.8.6.0 compiled from git.

Mine works fine with 0.8.6.2 beta, correct total block number.

I have seen our client show that it is out of date and tries to sync to a much longer chain. I checked this issue before and it is because we share the same pchMessageStart as other chains. I think this is better now as we are still in the 60k PROTOCOL_VERSION and Litecoin and newer clones use 70K+ so do not always talk to us.
Once we have a unique pchMessageStart this issue will be resolved completely.
