Looking for testers
-
Afternoon :)
I’m looking for a few beta testers in the UK. Having done a lot of work over the last few days on a new business venture I’m looking into, we are now in the position to do a bit of beta testing.
The concept
A UK based shop selling everyday goods for everyday prices taking FTC as the payment method. We will be looking at expanding the ranges offered to include a little bit of everything, and some one off specials as and when we can get hold of them. But will never list anything on the site that is not in-hand and ready for shipment within 24 hours of an order being placed.
The Testing
We have listed a few chocolate bars to complete the testing with, so we are looking for maybe 5 people who are based in the UK willing to spend around 10 - 20 FTC to help us out with the testing. In return you will get the chocolate sent to you in the post, we will send you a simple questionnaire to complete via email, and once we receive it back we will refund you 10FTC for your efforts.
So given the exchange rates right now, you could be chomping into a nice bar of chocolate in a couple of days for a small investment of around 1.22 FTC and a little bit of your precious time ;)
So if your interested, please drop me a PM and we can take it form there.

I would love to help you out, but I am in the US :/

Hello I am interested. This also made me think, I would love for us to have a high street shop that only sold things for Feathercoin.
-
Can you provide some pictures of goods? ;)
-
I’ll do some beta testing if you can provide a link with some more info…
Based in the UK as required. -
It’s a Cadbury’s chocolate bar :)
I’ll drop you a PM with the details in, but the short answer is, we are testing the checkout process on a new site. We have a couple of little bugs to iron out before we can go live.

Hey did anyone have any joy with this? I would like to feature in newsletter tomorrow.

Uncle_muddy, I have sent you a PM, always willing to help in anyway I can. :)

Cheers for the offers of help guys, we had a couple of testers and things seam to work well once the bugs had been sorted from the work flow.
But and unfortunately this is a massive but for us, and where we thought we would like to take the site… We had a few conversations with suppliers, and trying to find a drop ship supplier for everyday items, on a relatively small scale was almost impossible, so for the time being the project is on-hold as at this time, I don’t have the resources to start something like this up to deliver the range of goods we where hoping for :(
As to where we take the idea next, we are a little undecided! we have an option to work with suppliers to one of our other companies to possible offer mining supplies to the UK again having the option to pay in FTC for things like PSU, GPU, Open frame rigs ect
So I’m guessing the question goes out to you guys, would you if we where reasonably competitive with the likes of scan, over clocker, dabs, etc consider parting with FTC to purchase components to build your next rig?
I’m still working on some numbers with suppliers of this type of hardware but would be hopefully be able to at least match if not beat the above by 1-5%
