There’s a small typo in the HOWTO also i think:
You can use screen -r to open up the p2pool console, or you can tail -f ~/[s]p2pool-fc[/s]/data/feathercoin/log
should read “p2pool_feathercoin”

RE: [Task] Create guide for setting up p2pool
Okay, just keep those rep points coming :-)
Wrote up a guide in the support section about setting up your own feathercoin daemon and p2pool.
Just added this post in case someone is following this thread. -
RE: So ... I went ASIC last night
I’m into buying ‘old’ Zeusminer asics for low cash and use them with Nicehash and still make a nice BTC profit :)
At the end of december they all have made their ROI and i’ll upgrade them with new blades.

RE: [Dev] NeoScrypt GPU Miner - Public Beta Test
Getting 145kh/s with my 280x with sgminer 5 settings : sgminer.exe --algorithm neoscrypt -I 15 -w 48 -g 2 --no-submit-stale -o -p
That is 60kh/s faster than 3.7.7b and the same as with 3.7.8.
Thanks Wolf, your contribution is greatly appreciated.
Okay, this has become a long thread and I think there’s need for a step-by-step recap on what to do with what to achieve these results ?
Like this (for Linux systems, don’t have M$ so can’t speak for that):
-
install Xubuntu 12.04LTS
-
install AMD driver version ?
-
install ADL_SDK version ?
-
git clone sgminer/cgminer/neominer ?
-
compile and install miner
-
adjust miners config based on GPU model
Can we fill in the ? with links and versions ?
Cheers,
Paul

RE: P2Pool with Neoscrypt Feathercoin
I’m using Ghostlanders p2pool software which seems to run okay by now.
There are 2/1 in/out peers. For some reason the blocks found date/time is wrong in the stats page. Havent figured out why that is because using the same software with Phoenixcoin works fine.

RE: Neoscrypt Mining Pools
P2pool server http://multicoin.eu is running on Neoscrypt for Feathercoin and Phoenixcoin.
Blocks are found but on both coins but on the Feathercoin stats page the date/time when blocks are found is incorrect whereas for the Phoenixcoin the stats are fine. It’s the same server with the same p2pool software.
What can be causing this ?
Any other p2pool operators seeing this ? -
RE: Feathercoin 0.8.7.0 Released - The NeoScrypt Update - Hardfork block 432,000
