Feedback from Comic Con Promotion
Great response from gamers & tech heads alike, came across a few bitcoin and litecoin miners, strangely enough most of them haven’t looked at mining any newer coins.
Those that heard of us thought that we where only a few weeks old or very new, suppose it take a year to shake off the new coin image.
So I set the record straight and probably picked up some new miners for us.I learned quite a bit myself, for example at events like this in future doing as much as the following would help.
Have a Display Stand, with…
Working GPU Mining Rigs.
Laptops showing a few exchange sites.
Feathercoin client running on laptops, tablets & phones.
A girl(promo girl) & guy(promo guy) in some type of skintight outfits with the feathercoin logo on their backsides.
Another 3 or 4 people making the stand look busy, chatting with and helping the public understand what is feathercoin.The qr code tshirt worked great.
Finally I want to thank Entimp, Ruthie, ChrisJ & iawgoM for helping out in this. I hope other members get out there and spread the word, and use the resources of the teams here to get it done.

Maybe we should generate a list of events that go on up and down the country and see who wants to go? There are two international lingerie shows a year near where I am, I used to run a lingerie store ;) Would dig to do them ;)

Thank you, I got the flyers done, the text is some parts was a little small but they did the job, which is what I needed them for, the more we do all this stuff the easier it gets for next time.
So we wont have to twist your arm to go to those lingerie shows ;)

Entimp - great idea, I certainly wouldn’t mind going to comic con / gamers con esp want to go to Blizz Con but there isn’t one in the UK :(
iawgoM - I’m certainly interested in having those business cards made up - the PM you sent us is it suitable to have made into something bigger than a business card, something leaflet like, compliment slip size…?

In regards to the cards, I really like iawgoM’s idea of putting a link on the main page, for how to start mining and the relevant tutorials.
Then put this link as step 3 on the business cards.
