Development - Koolio escrow and more

The Koolio escrow service integration with the market is almost complete and I aim to have this up and running by Monday. I was going to finish this today for tomorrow but my family has reminded me that it is my birthday today :)
Every account will get a Koolio escrow address, when you go to sell an item you can select Koolio escrow under payment options. When a user buys an item and goes to pay they will be presented with your Koolio escrow address and a total to send. Koolio escrow will receive details of the auction and users involved. There are a few extra bug fixes and recaptcha coming with this market.
After Koolio escrow has been completed I will start work on the next project. I have listed all projects below to complete. You can see that there is a lot to do and I am only one person. There are a few who have offered to work on progressing these projects. If there is something on the list below that you think you would be able to help with then please let me know.
[b]API for merchant integration[/b] - Aldanga is looking at this. Input is required on what features is required for merchants as our own API needs are relatively small at the moment.
[b]Online wallet[/b] - This is a server side wallet that can be used for the market and the shop as well as a million other things. A chap called Developer is looking at implementing an online wallet and I am chasing him now. Perhaps there is a wallet out there for another coin that we can repurpose.
[b]Qt Development[/b] - There are a lot of features requested in the Qt client that need to be looked at. One of them is the update notification.
[b]Shopping Carts[/b] - I am planning on installing Joomla with VirtueMart and OpenCart to create FTC extensions for them. I believe that there are also Bitcoin extension available which can be repurposed. If anyone is interested in creating some FTC shopping cart extensions for any CMS or shopping cart system then please let me know. Joomla with VirtueMart will eventually be used in our online shop. Attached is a document on why we need an API which shows some of the most common e-commerce systems that we would want to create shopping carts for.
[b]FTC Armory[/b] - Make a FTC version of the Bitcoin Armory. The chap behind armory has said that he will support anyone making version of this for any other coin. The project is open source as far as I know.
[b]Stats page[/b] - This proves a little wild at the moment.
[b]SMF Newsletter template[/b] - We need something pretty to be able to email everyone with. SurveyMonkey has some good free templates that could be adapted for SMF.

I’d also recommend hitting Trollbox with this news. Obviously everyone is LTC crazy right now, but it doesn’t hurt to poke the name out there a bit more.

Already been said but we need to be able to enter a price in USD and that the FTC price adapt until the person commit the actual payment of FTC.
I am not asking to support USD but rather to be able to set merchandise at a certain USD price and that the displayed price in FTC adapt to the currency ratio between FTC/USD which can be calculated via BTC-e or Others services online.
Also we need to be able to have a functional profile page, which easier message box management. Id like inbox, outbox, draft, important message filter, id like to be able to view in and out message, archive them.
Feedback need to be worked, we need to be able to make sure that stop these fake buyer, or we should require a user to buy 1 thing before selling or force escrow for the first few sales. Also negative feedback should be reviewed eventually somehow so these users get shun or ban. The feedback need to mean something otherwise it pointless as a rating system right. So in a sale, only the seller should be able to emit a feedback until the payment as been received, so if the buyer doesnt pay, the seller can leave a negative feedback without being scare of receiving one negative feedback with no valid reason. A mod could verify that later on if the user complain.
Finally, shipping options need to be worked out. obviously you cant really set a fixed price for shipping and ship worldwide unless your name is newegg. So it would be great to have the possibility to set the shipping price after the buyer commit to buy and then after this is done and agreed from both side, payment button is offered for the total of the sell + the actual shipping fee. That would prevent the seller from getting rip off with shipping fee.
That just a few… Random items, Most viewed Items, Latest Sold, etc on start page

Koolio escrow is coming along. Koolio is moving his site to another server and has given me a few additional changes required for better integration.

[/quote]Thanks for the feedback. The FTC API will allow us to add a currency convertor and give people the option to fix the sale against USD.
There are many fixes to the system in the Koolio escrow release and future fixes and features will be coming out faster. A large part of my work has been on overhauling the multi buy system for Buy Now auctions as this is currently lacking proper support. Once I have finished multi buy support I will move on to the messaging system as it need to be much more prominent. The user experience in the current market site can be greatly improved.
There are a large number of features and improvements that I can think of for the market, enough to make it a full time job :)
