Tried it and it did not work for me.

Solve By copying chainstate directory and blocks directory from a synced up computer to the server.

I figured it out I need to create a bootstrap file. Thanks for helping me think this through.

Blocks : 467870. My wallet is synced on my laptop. What directory do I named to zip/tar to put on my server?

I stopped feathercoind on the server. Did tail -f .feathercon/debug.log and did grep for sync. Started feathercoind and got the output “LoadBlockIndexDB() : synchronized checkpoint …” . Does that mean it is synced?

How do I determine that?

When I run_p2pool.py —net feathercoin
I get the error -10 Bitcoin is downloading blocks…

Well actually,the new drivers do. It depends upon to card. See excerpt title from installation guide below.

So running X allow the fan and temp information to be displayed via the miner interface?

Should I be running X in order to see the fan speed and temperature of my GPUs? I am running Ubuntu server LTS 14.04.X, AMD driver Crimson 15.12 for 14.04.X , and AMD app SDK 2.9.1. When I run in nsgminer -n. I get ADL initialisation error! Error – 21! Unable to load the Nvidia management library .

I was able to figure that out. I was fortunate enough to have an extra laptop that I could do a fresh install of 16.04. I was able to compile the wallet with no problems.

The feathercoin-qt files do not show up when I run the Linux PPA. My OS is Ubuntu 14.04. I have tried compiling the qt and it just core dumps. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have setup my feathercoin p2pool at sktpools.com:19327. Currently trying to get my mining rig back up. Also updated my wallet using the Ubuntu 14.04 deb and it only gives me feathercoind and no feathercoin-qt. I have used ‘sudo find / -name feathercoin-qt’ and it comes back blank. Any suggestions?

Any one currently running a headless UBUNTU 14.04 Server using a ASROCK H81 PRO BTC board with the latest version of sgminer?

AMD Catalyst 14.4 or 14.6beta2 with ADL_SDK 6. I think the latest is not supported.

I am going to rebuild the machine. So it was AMD Catalyst 14.6 beta and ADL_SDK 6 or 7 for the miner sgminer build? Also the latest AMD APP SDK?
