I was able to figure that out. I was fortunate enough to have an extra laptop that I could do a fresh install of 16.04. I was able to compile the wallet with no problems.

Solve By copying chainstate directory and blocks directory from a synced up computer to the server.

The feathercoin-qt files do not show up when I run the Linux PPA. My OS is Ubuntu 14.04. I have tried compiling the qt and it just core dumps. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So running X allow the fan and temp information to be displayed via the miner interface?
