That’s pretty cool about Belgium. Bulgaria and Serbia seem to have the cheapest electricity. Bulgaria has the added advantage of having the second fastest internet speed in Europe (Romania is the fastest). Serbia isn’t part of the EU, and so is cheaper with general costs - I know big miners in Serbia (I buy a lot of my bitcoin from Serbia). When it comes to mining, Eastern Europe seems to be ruling supreme. From what I know, Netherlands is one of the more expensive parts of Europe in terms of electricity costs, similarly along with Germany and the general Northern part of Europe.

So what you gonna do?FTC is dying rapidly…I’ve seen lots of suggestions in here but nothing being done. Are you guys going to try and save it or let it die? If something isn’t done to turn things around soon, it’ll be a footnote in history. Already it’s worth less than a squirt of piss. By tomorrow morning it’ll be negative zero.
Real shame things went this way. I had really hoped the best for FTC…then it hit the exchanges and it looked like it stood a real chance. Almost immediately after, it began the downward spiral. So…what are you all going to do now?
Dying? How is FTC dying? The BTC/FTC value has dropped, but the community and support has grown. The value of FTC is trying to be established now, and all cryptocurrencies had their downfalls in the past. FTC is far from dead.

I tried to make a Dwolla account, then it got locked down because I’m not in the USA :P
I’ve found it’s even more difficult to get money in most trading sites if you’re not in the USA. It’s not impossible, but it’s not easy.
Yes, they closed down my Dwolla account too, even though I was using a US bank account. Getting money into exchanges is easy when you’re dealing with larger amounts of cash ($50k+), but for most people dealing with much smaller transactions, many hoops need to be jumped through so it’s not even worth the effort. Just buy using other means.

I was probably one of the first 12 people in the first faucet post on bitcointalk and have been avid since. My site will be done way after this bounty is collected… but any insight, thoughts, encouragement, constructive criticism is much appreciated. The current site is just a wordpress, I’m just playing with the url tree while I wait for the green light.I build websites for a Financial Group and I’ve done very well for them. My Business Plan draft is on some money desks but some of you probably know that’s the time consuming part. I mean to do this up proper if it takes 1.2 years.
(ps if any of you need me to look over website code for section 508, seo, valid html etc, let meh now)
Interesting choice of not allowing bot trades. How far along are you?

I’m an audio professional and musician/sound artist. Looks like I’m the odd one out.http://hector-lee.com
We need more artists around here!
This is very true. Artwork and video will be very important for Feathercoin.
As for me, I haven’t had a job for years. I’m a serial entrepreneur, of sorts. I live for a living, is that satisfactory?

RE: 50k-100k Coin Bounty- Help Req-Feathercoin Service Similar to Coinbase or Bitpay
I used to use Opera, but site compatibility is too poor.
What really needs to be worked on are the advantages of Feathercoin and the selling points of a new platform, otherwise merchants are just going to be left asking why they don’t just use the already established bitpay and coinbase services.
And please, nobody create an underground illegal marketplace using Feathercoin. This at least is one advantage over Bitcoin and Litecoin, as they’re receiving negative attention due to illegal misuses. It really comes down to branding and PR. You can’t control how the currency will be used, but you can control its image, and the marketing is what’s really going to set Feathercoin apart.

RE: Hello Feathercoin
Where do you mine? So long as you hold onto them they should increase in value in time. Once more infrastructure is built they can start being spent.

RE: Hello Feathercoin
No problem :)
Well I’ve had tough times, just as everybody else. But I’ve done ok. The ‘homelessness’ was partly a forced situation in which a decision was made to either continue renting on my own, or travel. I chose the more exciting option.

Im also from The Netherlands ;).Electricity is pretty expensive, around €0,21 kw/h ($0.28).

That’s what I figured. It wouldn’t make it the most ideal location for mining then. -

What if it’s as easy as a Firefox extension? :)

That would be cool. Though I use Chrome most of the time ;)
