Just checking in and seeing how things are going? I see we’ve had a lot of views on the Owl Sanctuary Donation but not anymore coins; I’m just curious if anyone is interested in this donation other than the few of us. I would like to hear any suggestions everyone has.

Sorry it has taken so long to get this posted up as I’m having some troubles in my home life in the states while waiting on my spouse visa to come in.

We have received the poll votes and tallied them up and it shows everyone wants to donate to the Owl Sanctuary. The donation address for Feathercoin is 6fA66Cu2ZmCaTZHJFjPBdxZmqqDwnajdBA. If you would like to make a donation towards this fund feel free to donate some Feathercoin to the address which is being held by kris_davison a Feathercoin Staff Member.

I am looking to reach a goal of up to $200 dollars worth of Feathercoin in which as of this time using Crypto-Trades prices comes out to 37740 in FTC. kris_davison has already started the donation at 1500 FTC, I’m going to donate another 1000 FTC to the address as soon as I post this. If we raise more than this amount it will all go to the Owl Sanctuary. This donation is going to be by either a check or online payment via PayPal which is still being worked out at this time. This is to bring awareness to Feathercoin and it would be awesome to see other donations and projects go to bring Feathercoin into the spotlight.

Alright Friday is coming to a end and it looks like we have decided to go with the Owl Sanctuary. I would like to start a new topic here as soon as we can decide which Feathercoin team member is making a wallet to hold the funds for the donation when it reaches time to donate. Also, it looks like the Owl Sanctuary only takes PayPal or a check for a donation so this would also have to be done though the Feathercoin team. If the team would like to get ahold of me and setup all this I would like to try and get this going asap. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I have contacted both of the companies and have sent a email asking them to consider adding Feathercoin as a payment option to their sites. I’ve thought of contacting Newegg and TigerDirect also and seeing if they would consider adding Feathercoin as a form of payment also.

I totally agree, which one of the Feathercoin team would like to create a donation wallet to hold the funds while being raised once we decide on who we will donate too? That way everyone knows the funds aren’t being spent on anything other than what they are donating towards!

It would be cool if you were able to do this in dual colors, make the feather black and the rest of the coin in whatever color you like or if you sale it whatever color the customer likes. I’m very interested in the 3D printers myself.

Tmuir12 I love your ideal, but am curious to why you don’t sale these? I would buy one if I had the chance and use it as a keychain because if someone seen it and asked a question about it you could explain what it is and possibly bring others into the world of cryptocurrency. I like the blue color, if green was available that would be awesome too. Any information would be grateful for those of us that don’t have a 3D printer.
