Owl Sanctuary Donations?

Sorry it has taken so long to get this posted up as I’m having some troubles in my home life in the states while waiting on my spouse visa to come in.
We have received the poll votes and tallied them up and it shows everyone wants to donate to the Owl Sanctuary. The donation address for Feathercoin is 6fA66Cu2ZmCaTZHJFjPBdxZmqqDwnajdBA. If you would like to make a donation towards this fund feel free to donate some Feathercoin to the address which is being held by kris_davison a Feathercoin Staff Member.
I am looking to reach a goal of up to $200 dollars worth of Feathercoin in which as of this time using Crypto-Trades prices comes out to 37740 in FTC. kris_davison has already started the donation at 1500 FTC, I’m going to donate another 1000 FTC to the address as soon as I post this. If we raise more than this amount it will all go to the Owl Sanctuary. This donation is going to be by either a check or online payment via PayPal which is still being worked out at this time. This is to bring awareness to Feathercoin and it would be awesome to see other donations and projects go to bring Feathercoin into the spotlight.

Just checking in and seeing how things are going? I see we’ve had a lot of views on the Owl Sanctuary Donation but not anymore coins; I’m just curious if anyone is interested in this donation other than the few of us. I would like to hear any suggestions everyone has.

Hi everyone it seems this ran out of steam. and after the price collapse our few thousand FTC is not really worth very much.
I was just wondering if we could use the FTC for a different purpose.
Such as a fund for some dev work or a lottery for new members to come and join.
Maybe we could use the coins to fund promotion of the coin. Handing out coins for blogs and forum posts to try and get people back into this community?
just a thought.

Id love to see my coins I donated used for promotion of the coin if possible so more people know about Feathercoin. I am happy for you to decide the purpose of the usage of the Feathercoin I donated. This is just my 0.02FTC

Hi Kris, Yes I agree it looks as everything has slowly lost a little steam but I’m sure it will pick back up soon. Feel free to use the donations since I believe it was only for you, me, and abigail, that donated towards promotion of feathercoin and to pay the dev’s for their work,
