nice calculator, very comprehensive, it comes back with 370 watts though, which is odd. But I think I’m gonna just go with a 600 watt or something. I’ve had dropouts on some devices if I connect too many USB devices aswell, is that also a symptom of a weak PSU? and have you guys got a fav brand?

As far as brand goes, the general consensus around here is to get a Seagate. My bottom line though, get a reputable brand with great reviews and make sure its 80 plus certified. Keep in mind when you’re shopping future upgrades to your rig as well. If you are thinking of getting that 600 watt, you might be able to find something a little beefier for very close to the same price. GPUs use quite a bit of power. Whatever you do don’t skimp on the power supply. It’s not worth it to save some $ and in the process kill your system/burn down your house.

Thanks for the advice, but I can’t seem to find any current Seagate PSUs on the market…

I believe MTRisner meant to say Seasonic*.
This is the PSU everyone is recommending, Seasonic x-1250http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151109.
