Hi, it’s nice that you always want to keep the innovation going. At the same time, your homepage is quite nice already, it’s one of the best cryptocurrency websites. I guess it could always look a little nicer of course, I think megacoin has a particularly nice looking one. But your website is one of the reasons I decided to get into feathercoin versus other cryptocurrencies that had more technical innovation. I do also think it looks quite modern already and the video you put up looks very current, many adverts on TV look like that at the moment so it espouses professionalism and appeals to the masses. You should make a whole ream of these style videos on different themes IMO.

So by all means keep innovating but I’d be careful not to go too far and try to fix what isn’t broken and make a royal mess of it like Google is doing with YouTube right now.

BTW I think taking some stylistic cues from the classic infographics style would work well for feathercoin, it is a friendly style but can express serious subjects and I notice a lot of people into crypto tend to be about late 20s to mid 30s, the age group grew up with infographics (Usborne etc), plus the style has a strong British tradition. lol you all pick like heavy prog rock groups? are those the bands you like rather than those that truly reflect feathercoin. Pink Floyd for example was heavy, elitist, complicated, probably overrated in places too. feathercoin for me is more light and easy than that. What about the smiths? lol

Thanks alot, just in case anyone else ever needs to search this: I found a thread concurrency of 3840 seems to work best for this card which is 4x it’s 960 shaders. I also found a workload of 64 seems to up the K/hash. With intensity at 11 I can get about 200 which is short of the 250 quoted for this card but the heat stays at 65C and the desktop is very usable. If I up the intensity I can get closer to 250 but heat rises and desktop becomes gradually more unusable. thanks again :)

really? I can’t find that, there are 3 files with names of x64 multiples I tried but they have names in front, like scryptblablabla…

It really wasn’t a well thought out solution it took all of 2 milliseconds to think of it, probably if I sat down for 5 mins I could come up with a better one. The point is paypal and its like will have to adapt or die and they have a ton of money to throw at adapting. There will be some shift towards crypto from the mainstream in one form or another, the old establishment won’t just ‘go away’.

You are clearly struggling with the idea that the OP is a buyer and not a seller. Paypal entails very little risk to a buyer. The alternatives you give are not alternatives to Paypal and are far riskier for the buyer, half of them are shady offshore setups and we all know it. btc-e.com lol, yeah I’m sure the BUYER here is going to blown away by BTCe’s handling of fiat compared with paypal, Lulz

Dude seriously, you are questioning my grip on reality? In what way do the exchanges you listed have established reputations versus PayPal, most of them have only operated a few years at best, and PayPal doesn’t rip people off all the time, sure it’s establishment and a pain for the seller but it’s far more trustworthy than any crypto exchange like it or loathe it.

You are going to far beyond anything to do with the OPs post. He asked is it OK to buy from eBay. The answer is YES. Selling is the seller’s business. When you buy a burger from McDonalds do you phone up Ronald to make sure he is getting a good deal or do you make sure you are the one getting a good deal? Trying to expect a buyer to base his decisions on a seller’s position is contrary to the entire concept of trade, and trying to control the medium of trade is protectionism which is contrary to the entire concept of crypto. Both parties are adult and sentient, there is no issue here, if they want to engage in this transaction and if one of them get’s burned it’s their lookout.

Sure it sucks the way paypal treats sellers, I’ve been on the wrong end of it myself. So Sellers: don’t sell on eBay if you have any sense and want to keep your Paypal account. But buyers go right ahead, buy to your hearts content.
