Whats the current rate in hashs to find 2 blocks a day at. Im guessing 6000kh?

From my understanding, and I’m definitely no expert. Someone used a massive hashrate to control the blockchain (a 51% attack), added there own fake block/transaction with mass amounts of FTC and attempted to collect fees at the same time. Since they controlled a majority of the hashing they kept moving the coins to get them accepted or washed by the system to make them valid. If the conclusion you were looking for is whether they were successful or not, I’m not sure and would like to know as well. Please correct my understanding of this, if I’m wrong.

I was wondering if anyone has looked into finding the best efficiency for each hardware for mining? Specifically, settings and specs just for video cards because i know there are way to many different setups. At what speed/clock/voltage vs hash vs kWh is the most efficient?

Like most things everyone wants the most, and in this case the most hash. But what I’m looking for is the most hash at the best efficiency. I have rarely found kw usage along with any specs. Has there been any studies or research done for efficiency? I currently have 6 6970’s burning away some kWh’s, where is the 6970’s best efficiency at? I believe my mining could be much more profitable with the right settings. Thanks in advance.

I have also found the best results with 13.1. Wish i found better writes ups after I tried 13.4. I ended up reinstalling windows. wtf

Not to hijack your thread, what speed would you recommend for solo mining Feathercoin currently?

My 2 rigs are almost identical.

I had one computer that was falling out of usefullness, and the second i purchase used from forums. As far as i know I’m all out of spots for cards. Even if i could add more cards, i need a bigger power supply.

Heat: I had to move the middle cards on both rigs out of the case. I used 2 pcie extensions, 1 each, and zip ties to hold up the card. ??? Just helps keep the sandwich of heat down.

Just saying hello. I have been mining FTC for a week or so now. I began with mining BTC, but the ASIC’s are coming in hot. Its currently more profitable to mine FTC over BTC and LTC currently. Besides that I really like the outgoing push behind Feathercoin, keep it up. Eventually all the push will pay off.
