Item 4:

The easiest ways I’ve found to reduce heat are a box fan and open air. One can also replace the thermal paste on a GPU if it’s gotten old or was badly applied in the first place. However, the thing that tends to help the most is lowering the voltage. If you can do this with your card (either unlocked by default or flashed with an unlocked BIOS), it’s your best chance for lowering your heat output. It does take some careful balancing to ensure stability (hashrate vs heat and all that), but it lowered my temps by 10C and my electricity usage by 130W.
