I just made this post on FTC’s discord chat, and I figured it would be a good one to add on here as well:
I know I’m coming in a little late on this discussion about marketing, but I would like to add my 2 cents.
When I found FTC, I was looking for a good mining opportunity. I was looking for a cheap coin (I would later find that what I actually needed, but didnt quite understand, was that I wanted an UNDERVALUED coin…which FTC is) which was possible to be mined by a 100% mining rookie. I stumbled across FTC, and began to read and read and read about it. I saw a potential gold mine. The more I read, the more I fell in love with this coin. I tried to envision 5 or 10 years down the road, and what BTC could potentially be worth, and what LTC could potentially be worth. I logically concluded that FTC would either be where LTC currently is, or, hopefully, even higher. I don’t think this is really all that far-fetched of a possibility.
I went on to every crypto-related page I follow on Facebook, and started talking about FTC. I found that there were quite a few people who knew of FTC back in the day, and didn’t know that it was still around.
In my humble opinion, this is really a GREAT starting point for marketing FTC…or any other coin for that matter.
I don’t think we truly understand just how easy it is to get people interested in a coin.
I would advise everyone on here who has a vested interest in the success of FTC to do the same.
Don’t sit around thinking of a good way to market a coin. Let’s all get out there and market it ourselves!!
