My rig consists of
4x Gigabyte 7950 GPU’s, installed with arctic accelero 7970 coolers.
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3
PSU: Corsair AX 1200W
GPU: AMD Sempron 145 Processor ( cheapest one I could find )
Ram: 10GB
Hashrate: 2400 khash/s, which is perfectly normal.
All GPU’s are installed with risers, temps on the GPU’s are maximum 70 celsius usually :) Has never crossed over 73 celsius. This is however with the fan on ( good to just buy the cheapest 30cm fan and put it next to your rig if you have an open rig ).
This rig is my first and has been somewhat really expensive. I would advice people to buy their components used, especially older graphic cards like 6970 and 6950 may be quite cheap and give a decent hash power.

Hi there!
I was wondering something. I copied the motherboard model info you posted and put it into the search window at New Egg. The board that comes up only has two PCI 2.0 slots. Are you running some sort of a splitter bus cable? I didn’t know you could do that, but, then again, I haven’t built a computer in probably ten years, so I’m a bit out of date (aka a dinosaur). BTW, nice rig! It looks like you took care to build it nice and sturdy. I’m going to rip off your idea of the wooden frame for my setup!
Thanks!
