I’ve got something like 25,000+ FB friends, but I disabled my account. Sorry. :(
Facebook isn’t limited to 5000 friends maximum anymore ?
I’m pretty sure it will rise a lot higher than it is right now.
Yep, I do like imm.io, clean and simple.
You could take the direct link to the picture .jpg and add the link using the first icon above the smiley… It add the img and /img you put the link in it and we would see the pictures without having to click on it…
You could send them to http://www.imm.io e
And then, using the image link, posting it here.
That’s how I proceed normally.
Yes but you could say that about all cryptocurrency.
Feathercoin is faster, has a great community and smart peoples developing it, that’s what make it valuable.

It’s funny how Jerry has nothing to say except for the 4x faster transaction speed.

1.Litecoin has a central Foundation which employs a small number of programmers. They are following the Bitcoin protocol and will have similar feature until Litecoind 1.0. As will Feathercoin. They are already overwhelmed with controlling community patches.
2.Bitcoin uses Soundforge, feathercoin and litecoin use GitHub, to control their software. All three coins are part of the Bitcoin protocol. Feathercoin members and developers have passed bugs upstream, to Bitcoin.
3.There is no software advantage to Feathercoin particularly, it includes all the functions of Bitcoin. It has a good development community, with an aim to make wider adoption possible. It has been able survive the initial coin startup phase and get a wide range of pools and services available.
4.Feathercoin has also developed the discusion about the philosophical and practical implications of crypto currency. Feathercoin is widely established in the media. Feathercoin is distinguished now by being large enough to be secure and there fore useful and valuable. The first currency to do that where there has been a “bigger” coin with the same algorytm.

Just noticed I wrote Litecoin instead of Feathercoin in my Subject. My bad ! :P

0 = Zero
For all people reading this it is important to know that. No matter how much i personally love alt coins it be bitcoins or feathercoins the real value is 0. You can however say the same for dollar, euro, pounds or what ever kind of currency out there.
The problem for alt coins is that there is no real use for them yet except being a fake store of value ( the greater fool theory ). Unlike fiat you still cannot buy a house, pay taxes nor do anything with alt coins except gamble, buy hookers, drugs and other things ordinary people dont really need. ( Yeah i know there is much more, but you get the picture)
The dollar was as known pegged to gold until early 80, and that is what needs to happen to bitcoins.
Lets play with the idea of 1 bitcoin = 1 oz gold. If that was true one could pretty easy calculate real value of alt coins by factoring in bitcoins as the value factor in the same way as dollars where for all other currencies we have today.
So is this possible ?. Maybe, but probably not.
But i love the consept of alt coins and will continue to mine simply because the idea appeals to me, however it is important to know just what alt coins is at this present day in time. Just a big currency ponzi game.

LTC would have to be listed first…

And before that, they will need to finally deploy Midas.

Ok, I am new here. Didn’t know Bitcoin and Litecoin were forbidden words. (Since I didn’t ask a question about them but use them to ask where Feathercoin stand beside them)
I’ve look quite a bit on the forum but didn’t find anything that would completely answer my question.
Maybe, if the question is asked as often as you say, it would be a good idea to pin a thread about it.
Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome, it’s always appreciated.

Bitcoin and Litecoin aren’t forbidden, they just cause a lot of drama.
Ask yourself how many different places you find car door handles in a car?
I always have to hunt around before I figure out how to get out of a new car.

LOL !
So now I know, I’ll be careful.
I want to be part of the community and participate to it.
That was the purpose of my question. I simply want to have as much knowledge as possible, to be able the share this knowledge to others.
I think it’s the basic purpose of a forum.
I might be wrong tho.

The subject ask it for itself but, who is actively working on Feathercoin and where do they want it to go ?
What are the goal that are fixed, where do they want to stand beside Bitcoin and Litecoin ?
What are the real advantage that Feathercoin has ?
What do you plan to implement in the future to make it unique ?
I’m asking it just out of curiosity and because I think that Feathercoin deserve a place in the cryptocurrency world, but I would like to hear from those who are working on it or being involved in it’s development/evolution.
What kind of hardware do you have ?
