Need help setting up to mine! Would like to start tonight asap!
-
Okay will do. I can’t do it now but in 8hrs from now when I get off of work I can.
-
@miningdude22 just for curiosity what did you expect to see in the command line window?
-
@shadow1117 @AcidD @wrapper i think i am mining now… looking at “givemecoins” it shows balance stats 1.08876042 FTC. Now i set my auto pay to 500. Theres another thing on the dashboard that says “0.00 coins already paid to you” does that mean when it cashes out my 500FTC that it’ll go under and say “500 Coins already paid to you”?
-
@miningdude22 now the only thing is… How do I up the hashes? I downloaded the MSI Afterburner and saw a few over clocks but the hash rate is still the same…

Mining is about efficiency, not just total hash rate…
-
@wrapper yeah I know. Let me rephrase. My hashtags doesn’t stay steady. Goes from 700kh/s to 380kh/s and flukshuates from that high to that low. Not steady. How do I get it to be steady?
-
that is normal just look at the hashrate your miner says that should be more consistant see the blue chart in the middle
-
@shadow1117 i see that your geforce is steady in hash rate. thats what I’m referring to… mine is up and down… not steady. from 700kh/s to 350kh/s
-
@miningdude22 where are you looking in your miner or on give me coins? your miner reports the actual speed your card is mining at, give me coins on the other hand dosnt know how fast your card is they only guess by calculatig the number of shares your miner sends and the difficulty of the current round (as you see on the darker line they are almost always way off of the actual speed of the graphics card)
-
@shadow1117 on the mining thing. i see it right now at 605kh/s after it says “accepted blaahhhh blahhhh Diff 14” then it won’t say that for a awhile and the kh/s will drop to 550kh/s then once it say again accepted it goes up to 660kh/s or sometimes 700kh/s and then same thing. won’t get accepted or it’ll say “network difficulty” then stratum from pool 0 decide new block" and the kh/s will drop from 700kh/s to 600 or 500kh/s… not staying steady
-
Have you tried a different miner?
-
@shadow1117 i have been trying ccminer but can’t get it to work…
-
@shadow1117 @wrapper @AcidD GUYS! CCminer is working! i am mining at 735kh/s with Geforce GTX 1070! My r9 290’s should be coming tomorrow in the mail and I’m gonna hook them up!

On many pools you can adjust the difficulty of shares you get according to your hashrate. I can’t telll about your pool, but check the worker settings at your pool, and adjust it to a slightly lower difficulty. That way your miner can send shares more often, as it doesn’t take as long as before to calculate a share, and the pool gets a better view of your hashrate, resulting in a more stable display.
This has no effect on the coins you earn per day, but just helps the statics -

Nice!! Well done and 735khs for 1 card is pretty good.
-
Now I got another problem… I have an and card…
-
@miningdude22 AMD*. What miner works for these cards???
-
@miningdude22
CCMiner has better CUDA(NVIDIA) implementation in my opinion
NSGMiner runns well on OpenGL wich is better for AMD cards
