Review of progress with Hullcoin

Letter to Jeremy Corbyn
I was part of the forum team at Feathercoin which assisted and advised on strategy, software for HullCoin. It is an example of many of the innovatory projects and case studies at FTC which show OCM can be leverage at extreme speeds.
I note they have recently updated their web site with progress. http://www.hull-coin.org/
Obviously, OCM is about the public and Parties conducting monitoring and analysis of “social data” and as such is an issue for the Labour Party. Obscuration and false news is a major cause of failure of the political system OCM is one task to prevent that fault occurring.
HullCoin
Hull City Council announced in March 2014 the UK’s first local government operated cryptocurrency, dubbed HullCoin. It was created by Hull City Council’s Financial Inclusion Support as a project to the alleviate the suffering in the Hull area.
HullCoin was initially perceived as a token that “the needy” could spend locally on essential items. It was also envisaged for use in reward schemes, such as encouraging voluntary activities. In this case it might be used against council tax bills.
Hull coin was created with the advise of Feathercoin members and staff as well as software forked from Feathercoin source code.
