Setting up and using email encryption, new FSF Infographic Guide
-
As part of, Help Reset the Net, FSF launches infographic guide to email protection.
Encryption and keys are something I find difficult, and is a fundamental issue when dealing with cryptographic currency, or, say, server maintenance such as web hosting. The FSF have decided to finance some assistance for us mere mortals.
The Free Software Foundation (FSF), on 4th June 2014, released Email Self-Defense, a how-to guide for setting up and using email encryption.
The guide recommends free software tools like GnuPG and Enigmail to protect email communications from prying eyes. To accompany the guide, the FSF also released a shareable infographic.
