You are kidding right? 7300 or so FTC was 10000USD last December , and over 40 Bitcoins around early May 2013 when FTC first hit the exchanges.

I’m sorry but I don’t get your point. 7300 FTC TODAY is less than 500 USD and that’s not alot of encouragement for someone doing all the hard work required for this.
if the person wants the value paid in dollars then let him say so… 7300FTC could well be worth many times that dollar value in the future, but it will still be 7300FTC. ( i don’t know anything about algorythms but perhaps the developer should have stated his FTC request at the outset )
