White Mountain Mining Consortium - GPU Datacenter

I like the concept, but I did some math on the prices and it’s almost impossible to make ROI as it is right now. Are these prices aimed more towards users wanting to mine after a possible algo change? :)
-
The aim is to simply have a set it and forget GPU miners. Depending on the package you buy I will also do the work to add more algorithms to miners and do all the heavy lifting for you. On top of that I RMA all of the hardware if it breaks, I compensate for downtime and replace broken hardware. You get the hashrate you bought for the time you bought it guaranteed. With Bitcoin prices under $500 almost no GPU miners were looking at a straight ROI if sold when mined, however as bitcoin prices go up the ROI numbers change drastically. Unlike ASIC vendors I will not price adjust due to increases or decreases of ROI, my prices are sole based on a per unit usage of space in the data center and computer hardware costs.
Tired of dealing with GPU mining rigs and having to fix them, add or update mining software, finding optimized GPU settings, or deal with broken hardware? I have all of it covered, just tell me what pool you want to mine at and the machine is yours to use.

After a two weeks worth of trouble shooting I finally have my first two servers stable 24/7/365. Found out that the default debian network manager has a bug when using static IPs, whenever the network would drop briefly and reconnect network manager would crash the kernal and make the rig unresponsive. Pictures soon to come, hopefully around 5pm est tonight.
My remaining 3x 6 GPU 4u rackmount server chassis got shipped yesterday and are on my way to me which is good because having all those GPUs sitting is just killing me!

More pix to come, been so busy these have taken a back seat. I have rig #3 built and running, #4 is built and needs to be setup. Managed to tear my rotator cuff moving full servers around by myself so now I cant work unless I have help from my lovely girlfriend. While installing #3 into the rack last night I tapped one of my exhaust fans and the motor shredded itself and now will not run properly.
I have managed to get building these down to a science almost, it took close to 4 hours to get the first one built. I managed to almost completely assemble rig #4 in about an hour yesterday.

Looks amazing
-
I didn’t think going from 2 rigs to 3 was going to be noticeable, after playing with GPUs for over a year now to mine with I am accustomed to this hardware. Once I hoisted the third rig up, slid it in place, and started it the grandness hit me… there is just a massive wall of hot air and noise coming from this 4+ foot tall wall of computers. I wont have enough GPUs to finish rig #5 for probably another month but after 6 months of work and planning I am so happy to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
-
Until the next price surge I wont bother renting any of these rigs. If someone is really interested in renting some hashrate from me send me a pm and I can try and work out a deal. If you want to use these for other cryptographic/compute functions let me know and I could rent them out for that too.
If any pool operators would like me to point my 30ish GPUs at your pool after neo scrypt comes out let me know. I am looking for someone with PPAgent support.
Due to summer heat/cooling I don’t have everyone running ATM but you can view the farm here:

Waiting on right angle 12x USB pack and I have a 6x r9 280x rig offline due to technical problems.

Done, Built, Running. Only 21 of a possible 30 GPUs are running.

That’s some serious looking kit!
-
Mate, that’s a sexy looking setup you have there!
-
What what? Just before the dawn on NeoScrypt?
-
If all goes well on the neo transition I may ramp my operation to my max of 30 GPUs per half rack. Now that I have all of the core hardware (mobo, mem, cpu, dual psu, cases) I am ready to keep GPU mining for the foreseeable future. I will need to start swapping out old GPUs for newer ones down the road, I am super happy to have this stable, clean, farm running 24/7/365.
-
And just like that I am down another USB… 3 32GB Mushkin Atoms dead so far. Seems to be just the Gigabyte rigs killing my USBs though. All of the Asrock h81 pro btcs work great.

If anyone is interested in using my farm its up on MRR:

ITS -10F/-23C outside…cant keep the house above 65, its normally almost 70 with a fan going. Running 22 GPUs to heat the house currently, and some extra from forced hot air for nights like this.
-
Ouch good to hear your getting the most out of your miners tho. Mining and heating seem to be the perfect efficiency match.

I should be building a formal for sale list soon with pictures. I am parting out some of this build (2/5 of the rackmounts).
For Sale remaining:
2x Grey Matter Custom PCI-e expansion chassis /w 6 risers, dual PSU board, 6 fans all working (4 thick deltas, 2 regular 120s)- $500 each shipped
15x Assorted 7970/r9 280x - 125-200 shipped depending on card (see first post+thread pictures)
5x Sapphire 7950s - 125 each shipped (see thread pictures)
2x EVGA 1300g2 - 160 each shipped
2x Seasonic 1250x - 180 each shipped
1x LEPA 850b2 - 80 shipped
1x coolermaster 1000w bronze w/ flat power cables - 100 shipped
If you are in NH or Maine and would like to meet in person I can do that too! For a point of reference on locale I am within 30 minutes of Mt. Washington.
If you want to ship outside of the US the prices will probably have to go up a little to compensate

So you dismantling the whole farm?
