      Hi guys the next Feathercoin Meet Up will be held at The Oxford Blue Oxford UK, Saturday February 22nd from 3pm onwards.

      If anyone would like to set up a Feathercoin meet in their area, I encourage you to do so, If you like you can contact myself or Chris and we’ll support you in any way we can, once the map is back up and running it’ll be easier to see people near to each other that may be willing to meet up.

      Another idea is to head to Bitcoin meet ups in your area or start your own group, I have just started Oxford Crypto Group to keep it general as there were no Bitcoin groups locally.

      Get in touch if you would like some help :)

          I’d be there in a flash, sadly travel costs from Cumbria make it out of my reach. Manchester is certainly doable if a few other members fancied getting something together with me?

            That is excellent news to hear :) (not that you can’t make Oxford but you can get to Manchester ;) )

            We have promised people around the UK that we will do a Feathercoin meet up tour but I think that will be more likely after our one year anniversary :)

                    I’m up for a Manchester meetup if anyone else is in the area on the 22nd? MrWyrm I know has expressed interest at least! I’ve just been checking travel costs to Oxford and it isn’t pretty :(

                      Travel costs are mental. There’s a pub called The Bulls Head near Piccadilly Station. Anyone know if it’s any good?

                        I haven’t been there actually but it depends what you’re looking for:

                        A - If you fancy a Wetherspoons kind of place then the Piccadilly Tavern is just down the road from the station.

                        B - If you’re looking for a quieter place to have a few beers and chat, then The Shakespeare is a little further into town (Still well within walking distance of the station) it’s slap bang in the centre yet it’s always quiet on non-match days.
