Price Predictions

I do enjoy these topics when they come up. Always a good chance to see what everyone’s perspective is.
I think FTC is in a lull. Doge has been taking up alot of mining, and the FTC network hashrate is now around 3Ghs. I’m wondering myself, what is going to be the catalyst to ignite another buy rally.
Every day more and more people are getting involved one way or another. I think this is all the calm before the storm.
Bitcoin to 1m $ each is not impossible.
Nothing is impossible, but 1 million is highly unlikely.
FTC at 1 USD is well within what is possible in the short term.

Bitcoin to 1m $ each is not impossible.
There are approximately 144 Bitcoin blocks generated every day, which translates to 3600 new bitcoins/day. If the price of BTC is $1M you need either miners who hold bitcoins long term, or 3,600,000,000 USD, every day. *fresh* fiat, not USD->BTC->USD loop. I bet we won’t see BTC at $1M anytime soon.
-
I also find this topic interesting and insightful as to what is others’ perspectives on this matter.
One thing is crucial: Crypto is still in its early days… if/when adoption gets to lets say 50% of the population, it is really mind boggling (is this the word?) to think on BTC or FTC “prices” or exactly what impact in our daily lives should we be expecting…
But from here to there, there is a long and steep road ahead, and ultimately it is the coin adoption that will drive its value…

I’m waiting doge to calm down, if that’s going to happen.
doge/btc had over 10k btc volume, it’s decreasing.
doge/btc was around 30, then pump to ~300, people will dump them eventually.By the way, doge still having more hashrate than litecoin, not sure if it’s supposed to happen for such long time or not.
May not affect FTC directly, but sort of indirectly.
I honestly think that doge is the worst thing for the crypto cause. If I were just starting again and heard of doge coins actually succeeding I wouldn’t be as likely to take cryptos as seriously as I currently do. If we ever want to see cryptos go mainstream then coins such as doge which is based on a well known meme shouldn’t be able to become a accepted currency. There are currently only a few coins that I think could go mainstream. Those being Bitcoin, Litecoin, Worldcoin, and of course Feathercoin. Each have their own advantages and disadvantages (Feathercoins being the community in my mind) while still being able to hold a level of seriousness.
FTC being 1 USD is VERY probable. In fact I think we will see Feathercoins up to 3-4 USD in the near future. What Feathercoins really need is for merchants to start accepting them. That will guarantee our coins success.
EDIT: Yes I realize in the post I said I can’t see it above $1.30… i’ve changed my mind 8)
no problem :) I just happen to saw it this morning too.
been indexing any news with ‘bitcoin’, ‘btc’, ‘litecioin’, ‘feathercoin’, etc for months now (via Bing API) to do a bit of big data and my own API source -

FTC hitting bottom again and pretty high volum on the 32 low.
Anyone think we are headed for a dive down in the 20 zone. Buy support almost all gone this week, just sell, sell and more sell.
I am mining and buying but i would like to see slow movement in the other direction and not the way we are headed now.

It is inevitable, faster we fall all the way down to the gutter, faster we can bounce back…

Looks like 33 is about to be taken out now. I would be more comfortable if we could rally to 35-36 and get some buy support in the 30-35 area.
I will go out and look for a whale.

Hi all,
I think that… nobody knows :)
I bought my coins at December, since then the coin went up by 20%, and down by 20% (bouth from my Buy price).
As I meantion before the coin is young and we must look for the long run. I plan to hold it even if it will go down under 0.00027 and more. I also do not plan to sell it at 1 - 3$ and more :).I must say that at first I thouht that I’ll buy and forget, but you guys’s are great, It is really intresting to read the topics here. Let’s give our coin time, long time…
Best to you all.

Ok very interesting opinions indeed…
I have no idea because I’m quite new to all of it but I own quite some FTC at the moment
of which I’m proud! What I don’t get is that something like Vertcoin comes from nothing and is
already hitting 7 dollars or so on crypto market capitalizations…how is that possible?
I know you can’t trade them on BTC-E or anything so how does one interpret this?
I also think we should try to get together and promote FTC more, with all of us we can do a lot!!! -
Same way 42 came out and was worth 1500BTC.A little talk carries a few days but is not long term sustainable.
Overall I think everyone is catching on to the 2nd or 3rd or “next gen” of crypto out there. FTC is considered by many as a copy due to fork, slow still, not pool or resistance to future asics, antiquated in crypto terms maybe. The next few months may be a true test as FTC may collapse to some all time lows but it will either recovery (which I’m sure everyone wants) or not. :-/
The market cap of FTC isn’t that great of a loss if moves to others…
Yep to all four points. I’ll add, sadly the additions that were implemented are scowled at as either undesirable or because someone else wrote it.
Agreed. Unfortunately it’s all up to BTC-e. They control the price of FTC. BTC-e is the Federal Reserve of FTC. You want a price movement? BTC-e will have to make that happen.*
[sub]*This is my opinion and yours may not agree. If that is the case, please explain why in detail.[/sub]
-
BTC-e is the Federal Reserve of FTC.
Haha, not pulling any punches today. -
Price continues to fall while sell walls increase. There is no demand for Feathercoins anywhere. Millions of FTC are up for sale while only 10’s of thousands are on buy orders.
I see nothing happening in the near future.
-
I think much of that sell wall is fake in order to push the price down and allow certain people to hoover up tons of cheap FTC from the [s]morons[/s] savvy investors in the troll box who while sure they are in the loop are being played for chumps by the various sock puppets that haunt the same troll box.
I think eventually much of that sell wall will vanish probably in conjunction with the entirely coincidental appearance of an FTC/USD and maybe FTC/EUR pair on the exchange and then all hell will break loose.
If the above turns out to be true then I think the wailing and gnashing of teeth in the troll box will be epic. of course I could be deluded in which case I’ll get my coat :)
