Hi,I’ve been on this lovely site for some time now, and I live in the states and use USD… we need ftc/usd to help with our hard earned money that we’re investing in crypto currency. please make this happen soon or I’ll be forced to trade somewhere else.
Warm Regards,
Particularly with the stability in btc/ftc it there has been few opportunities to recover fees if one needed to go through btc to get usd.

Somebody help me out here because I saw this link http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php/topic,7109.0.html and it appears to suggest that you can now buy/sell FTC directly for USD at CoinMKT?
Thats true yes.

yes, i saw that too, however they have to much US regulation to deal with, they wanted my DNA before they would let me withdraw my money.
my letter to them:
Hey,
I actually have .482 BTC and 1.130 namecoin that I would like to respectfully withdraw, or is there noway possible?
It’s hard to have confidence if it doesn’t let you withdraw. If I would’ve had more trust in your system I would’ve stayed.
I truly wish you guys the best as you’re from the states. To be honest what i have to withdraw is nothing, but it may be to other that are not as fortunate
This policy will hurt you in the end my friend…
Best,
they responded:
Also, in your ID verification tab, are you at least level 1? If you are at least level 1, you should be able to withdraw all of these. We will escalate your issue, our apologies.
CoinMKT Team
another letter they sent me:
We require basic information on all customers that withdraw real money. Please update and save the proper fields and if all looks good your withdrawals will be enabled.
My response: You didn’t require this info when I deposited my bitcoin, why now?
-
I guess to deposit a bit coin you simply transfer it from your wallet to CoinMKT? But as soon as you have to cash out to the bank… well they need to know basic details for the transaction? Seems pretty normal to me, but I can see why you are hesitant to do that.
Isn’t the CoinMKT thing a really big deal though.
I might be very confused, but for some reason I thought you usually had to cash out via BTC… but this is the first time an exchange is doing it straight from FTC to USD.
Regardless I don’t mean to thread jack. Most of all its good that you are raising these questions on behalf of everybody else +1 8)
-
well the subject kind of change with regards to CoinMKT
i wasn’t trying to cash-out my friend, just transfer it to a different wallet and it didn’t let me.
-
Here another response today:
I’m not sure how we would do that, could you explain? When you deposit from a third party address on another website or wallet, we can’t technically prevent you from doing a send, or how much you send.

These warm regards were fully meant! 8) I sent them a message quite a while ago - never heard anything from them.
Same here. Did sent twice. But gonna send another one ;)
thanks man, me too.

well isnt that sweet. unfortunately btc-e has their own agenda and its making money through manipulation. we may see ftc/usd yet. Saying ftc is stable is laughable though. its dropping like a rock for the last 3 weeks.
HOWEVER: ftc does have a very rare community of positive people and im proud to be part of it regardless of the price
