A good week for feathercoin

im still waiting for option to pay with like paypal or feathercoin for this service :'( im sure someday in future maybe?
If its the mining contracts your talking about I’ve put up some listings in the feathercoin market under the cryptocurrency section so that you can now pay in FTC :)
-
It’s weird how today Feathercoin has shot up, when before it was following Bitcoin’s changes. Do you know why this is?
-
Notice, that the same growth is happening to Peercoin and Primecoin too.
-
Sure it’s something related to mining since I saw that today the average network capacity passed from 4.59 Gh/sec of the last week to 10.5 Gh/sec :o :o.
Feathercoin passed Worldcoin in profitability today. -
Maybe it’s LINK and FLUX driving the new “investors”.
mmmm FLUX… http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php/topic,6552.0.html

let’s eat the dogcoin alive.

Id say alot of people got graphics cards off santy this year ::)

I hope so I’m still waiting my 17 R9 290X… :(
Nice! I’m waiting on 39 x R9290’s for scryptcloud.com but they aren’t even able to ship until 10th of Jan when they can fill my order :-\ how are you going to setup your rig? I’m making 13 separate rigs for easy setup and maintenance, 3 gpu’s per rig :) also solves my power and cooling problems!!

I want to be quite conservative in the design. I know there are risers and custom cases but I prefer to build just plan PCs.
So this is what I chose:
Case: Aerocool Air Bench Table. It’s a damn good piece of metal, perfect for keeping everything cool)
CPU: AMD A10 6880k (I like this one since it has an AMD 8670D inside and I can use it to mine just not to leave the CPU doing nothing)
Motherboard: FM2A88X Extreme6+
RAM: 16 GB Corsair
HD: 500 GB SATA III
Power Supply: Enermax MaxRevo 1500 W
Graphics Card: Sapphire Toxic R9 290X
I want to put three card for every system. I don’t want to combat with electrical problem, mainboard troubles and so on. I prefer to spend something more to buy a couple of systems more and work with stable systems.
I’ll put Linux on them and I’ll use SSH to adminiter them all. That’s all
Looks like the historical doge fun was sent home with the fireworks! People are getting sober from Christmas as well.
Somehow I’m curious what made FTC mining increase so much and even eating the BTC-e ‘‘walls’’.
That sounds fairly decent, I will be using windows 7 on all my rigs! do you not think 1500w power supply is a bit much? I am only using 1000w power supply units… and about the power thing, I will have to get an electrician to come and sort some things out as turning on 13Kw’s of equipment may overload the main power supply to the house… maybe you should do so also just to be sure? :)
-
I found 1500 W power supply which costs less than 1000 ones :-).
By the way I don’t have any electric trouble since I’ll put all my machines inside a datacenter in Swiss. It just has 1 Mw/h power so it’s more than enough :-)

wait what a CPU that can be used to mine since it has 8670 inside it? I am wondering if I seen that correct and if so what is the hashrate for it

@DarkAngel: A10 6880K is an APU (in fact you need a mainboard with FM2+ Socket not AM3). It’s a Piledriver chip (you can find a review here http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/a10-6700-a10-6800k-richland-review,3528.html) where you can find a 4 CPU cores and a 8670D GPU. It’s not a skyrocket but you can reach something about 100 Khash/sec in scrypt.
Better than nothing ;-) -
I actually have a asus M2N-SLI motherboard in this system I am about 95% sure it runs FM2 chips but if im wrong someone feel free to point it out. I was actually in process of buying a new cpu just cause the one in this system has been getting used 24/7 for last 4 or 5 years doing calculations for the SETI @ home program " got to find those ETs lol "

You wrong. Your mainboard is an AM2/AM2+ ones.
