The first one FTC USB block erupters be born, about 240Khash

So where do I send the money. I’m in for 10!
-
I guess we are witnessing a landmark in FTC/scrypt history :)
I also would like to order 1 unit, if possible.
I agree with Calem: It would be nice to try to sell the 1st batch to as many people as possible so that a few don’t get a “head start”.
Also, i have no idea how these things work: you just plug it in and its ready?
And how about shipping costs?

Far out…In all seriousness, how many are available? Or how many could be made available?
If you put them up for auction, then people will outbid each other like crazy.
If your willing to sell at that set price, is there a chance you can divide them equally amoungst all interested parties. (Provided they are an active member here on the forum)
Also, are you able to reveal how you built them and where you sourced them, so others here could make their own. I’m broke for the next 4 weeks, so I’m gonna miss out. This makes me a sad Aussie…
With that said, I have the friends and resources to put together my own when I have the money.

Could we possibly create a pinned thread in the mining section where you could sell / divvy out what units you can and also release all the information required so others can follow in your footsteps and build their own?
that would be the best way, thanks calem
-
One will do me to start!
Calem has the best idea! Split and divide so everyone gets a go!
This is going to be epic!
-
A little late to the party - if your making a list for purchases, I would love to get ahold of 5-10 as well.
-
Same here, I’ll take 7!
-
I’m conservative.
Put me down for one please.

I… uh. I just don’t know.

Looks like we need some help here with the language barrier.
As to bulk orders, maybe it’s best if we can get a few going? One for the U.S, one for UK / Europe, Australia etc? Get 5 or 10 each?
I know no one wants to miss out on this, and we will unless we can get in fast.
-
I was thinking the same. Just wanted to suggest if someone from Europe wants to group buy first test batch (20pcs), and we split the expenses? After that we can confirm if the stuff really works properly before further purchases. Also, isn’t there some kind of controller unit in the kit or something that you would need for each separate device?
I’m with you guys on the group bulk order. Who know’s how many devices end up dead after a day. Better to waste $150 than $1500, if things go ((boom))
So, count me in for an EU order =) -
Nice work. :)
I’ll take 10. I’m willing to join a group in the States for a bulk order… -

They don’t take pre-order. You pay today, they delivery the same day.
Unlike many miner manufacturer running pre-order model which is annoying.Min amount for each order is 20, used to 10.
5 Packs limited on the forums, cybtc, already sold out for today.
20 Packs limited on the ONLY distributor, diginforce, start selling at 1pm everyday. They are still working on mining btc<c problem, they will update firmware, eventually.
Power consumption at 3MH/s. (It’s higher than told, but still very low thou.)
They are indeed fast and efficient :-\ applause! (I think that’s the advantage of being close to the supply/manufacturing chain?)
Unlike AlphaTech that’s still taking its own sweet time until July at least. -
Thanks for the link. Ill be buying some tomorrow
-
Its only bank transfer. Will diginforce ship to the USA?
I think these stuff are so-called first generation asic miner.
Gridseed is 55nm chip. So it’s going to have a lot faster asic miner for Scrypt sooner or later.
GPU mining is dying.
Yes. Probably 28nm next year, then 15nm by 2015~2016. :P
We already saw companies like ButterflyLabs going from 230GH (rack) to 600GH (PCI express card!) with just 40% the power consumption.https://products.butterflylabs.com/homepage/250-gh-s-rack-mount-bitcoin-miner.html $4,255.00 (230GH)
vs
https://products.butterflylabs.com/homepage-new-products/600-gh-bitcoin-mining-card.html $2,196.00 (600H)I won’t be buying this yet, until the next generation when its a lot faster than GPUs. Right now its already on par despite AMD manufacturing its GPUs in 28nm!
-
I will stick to my GPUs first, since they do have resale value. In my country, I can sell it at 90% the original cost still despite using it for a month already!
There’s 3 years warranty to AMD GPUs, so even if its fried just RMA! LOL ::) -
I want one, and I mean just one, for the sake of testing etc.
I doubt I’ll have the money anytime soon, so I suppose only time will tell. My funds are somewhat tied up at the moment.
When anyone here gets a hold of one. Please oh Please post a video on youtube. I’ll promote your video and channel.
