FTC Delisted at BTC-e
-
I contacted coinmkt support and said:
“I am not sure if you are aware, but BTC-e has released a statement saying that they will be discontinuing FTC/BTC on their exchange.
This is a great opportunity for your website to increase its market share by catering to the FTC community.
The largest gripe about your website however is that the exchange only allows 4 decimal places when trading between FTC and BTC, with BTC in the $400 range it does not make sense to have this artificial limit on the exchange, it only hinders your clients ability to exchange effectively between mediums.
Would you please consider adding a few more decimals places to the FTC/BTC? I think it would be beneficial to both of us.”
If anyone else wants to send an email to this effect, I think it would be beneficial to all of us -

CoinMKT does not have enough decimal places. Chris and I have both asked for this to be changed in the past as it is not suitable right now.
Didn’t/t know that.
Price down, trade volume up. Just like somebody is doing this to buy very cheap. -
FTC/BTC needs 0.000xy, so at least 5.
BTC is in the hundreds of $dullarz, so more decis makes sense.
-
mcxnow is a good exchange to be on. They have a good support for quite a few coins.
-
You should go to MCxNow, they surely have more volume than CoinMkt and + you can earn interest on coins you just keep on their exchange. It’s technically great exchange too. Fees are not too big too, 0.25%
There are some twats there though but guess that’s the price of site with trollbox.
-
We shouldn’t put all our eggs in one basket, volume should be split between two exchanges.
-
Hi everybody,
I’m so disappointed that BTCe delisted FTC, but what makes me angry is the explanation that is no true, FTC has volume much more than TRC.
It’s a big hit to the credibility and the fairness of BTCe.
I put all my FTC in cold wallets and see what happens, before to go in an another exchange.
Good luck for all FTC community !

I bought al ot of ftc today… Where can I trade them now? How can I keep them if it gets delisted? Dont other places do ftc trades? Please help I might lost or make a lot of money(to me at least ~.~)
The whole btc-e exchange is a scam, we should do an article and press release it, hit those bastards where it hurts.
We should still pull all support from the site, lets use this community’s power, and put our volume into two other exchanges. -
HOLY FUCKING SHITBALLS BATMAN!!!

Even if btc-e were scammers we benefit from being on that exchange… -
Like I said, this was personal. And they personally benefited.

I’d say they could have made a near 6 figure sum in US dollars today. -
Well, if I have managed to double my FTC balance there without any bots today, I suppose they have done a much better job at this.

Their excuse is equivalent to Andrew Huszar’s, “Sorry America”, the other day.
I can only say: I’m sorry, America. As a former Federal Reserve official, I was responsible for executing the centerpiece program of the Fed’s first plunge into the bond-buying experiment known as quantitative easing. The central bank continues to spin QE as a tool for helping Main Street. But I’ve come to recognize the program for what it really is: the greatest backdoor Wall Street bailout of all time. - Andrew Huszar
