Okay so the top 4 were put in another poll which is radio boxes (one answer per person)Vote here: http://poll.pollcode.com/jmt62#sthash.8OC5L8zQ.dpuf
Results here: http://poll.pollcode.com/jmt62_result?v
I really think the italic should be counted as the regular font. They look indistinguishable and it took up one of the top 4 spots unnecessarily it seems.
-
Well some people want the normal one instead of the italic one, if someone is unhappy with the polls please go ahead and make better one! :) Not targeting you aysyr 8)
-
Just voted in the final 4
Whatever the outcome will be, Fastcoin (FST) can choose from the remaining ones :D -
I think it was supposed to look different though:
Ò’
Ò’ (italic)
You can’t get the italic one on the poll, it just changes it to a normal one that why I put italic in brackets.

Not to try to poo poo anyone’s choice or preference, but it just struck me that the lowercase italic f looks very similar to adobe flash’s icon. Should there be any reason for concern? I like the lower italic f even though I voted for the scrypt ucase.
Isn’t it normal also for currency symbols to usually be bold/ucase/strong characters. It could, and probably, should morph over time anyway. Once we’re big enough everyone will be clamoring to include the FTC currency symbol into their typefaces anyway!
My dog may have shown up too late for the hunt, but I just thought I would put this comment out there to see what others think. Thanks!

So what is the sign officially elected or not yet? :)
-
How about we just use whatever we want and see what sticks.
-
We’ll probably want ‘some’ standard in the coming weeks.

Hey Tuck, brill if we all were Unicode.
Everyone is using FTC, seems less confusing than a symbol.

áš
'Cause it’s an F that looks like a feather.
Well, half a feather anyhow…
