Quick Note: G/F fainted at work – she’s finally asleep which gives me a little time to catch up here. I can’t do anything for her right now, but just monitor. She has had serious heart conditions in the past, we’re waiting for a call back from her cardiologist (which unfortunately is ~1000 miles away).
My messages box is fairly full, I’ll do my best to answer them throughout the day depending on how she’s feeling.
-
Screw us, look after your girl.
-
I hope it is nothing serious. That is one serious trek to see a cardiologist! Is there nowhere nearer for an ECG?
-
I am, she’s dead asleep, I’m just waiting on a serious of calls and trying not to go crazy here… keeping busy.
We’re taking her in later today, her doctor doesn’t believe we need to be worried… she’s probably just worn out with all the changes on her diet/exercise. She looks much better, I’m dealing with the insurance issues etc…
Thanks everyone. I just wanted to give a heads up if I’m in and out over the next few days.
-
Fooking hell mate I hope she’s OK!! :(
-
Still you should take the weekend off, now delegate stuff to keep yourself busy. Take care John.
-
Definitely, best wishes to her feeling better. Try not to stress yourself out too much either, we don’t want you fainting on us too one of these days.
-
Hang in there
-
You can keep my lucky draw FTC for your expenses. I love you
-
Hi John, Hope everything is okay… try not to worry and push us to the side, go take care of her. Thinking of you x
-
I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again - “Take the weekend off!” watch the F1 or sommat.
Hope she’s OK and just as importantly hope you’re OK. Everyone forgets the worried spouse/parent/son/daughter/etc.
-
Wow, hope everything’s alright. You should definitely take a rest as well, and look after her.
-
Thank you everyone. As soon as the calls come in, I’m sure that’ll be it for me for a day or two. Surveys are posted, most of my PMs are finished, video edits are almost done on the Feathercoin Myths… I think we’re in good shape. :)
-
Family comes first. You’ve been working hard here lately. Take a weekend to rest. The community will manage itself for a while.
-
Hi everyone, she’s doing much better. She still has to visit with her cardiologist, however, she’s in good spirits. Thanks so much for the kind words.
-
+1 give her a feathercoin :)
-
Hope she gets better! Go and take weekend off noob :P

Dude, seriously. Give me or Markus or d2 or someone your phone number, turn off your computer, and we will call you if something serious happens.
I trust that you’ll do the right thing, and by right thing I mean spend some time with your family.
We need you and your family healthy and happy in the long run.
I’ll say it again, and I don’t care if you all think this is too bromancy for ya: We love you. We need you. Please, take care of yourself first, and us second.
Exactly! Take some time off and do something relaxing with your girlfriend e.g. dinner, massage, movie. Don’t forget to focus on your own well-being as well…
