I understand the issues/controversy with Solidcoin… I just want to discuss the proposed features for this 2nd iteration.

I have already worked out a better solution that doesn’t involve trusted nodes: Multipath block creation.
Instead of receiving a block when someone gets lucky, instead we create a major block containing 8 slots. The lucky miner gets all 200 as usual, but instead of doing the work himself, he gets 8 slave miners to make 25 coin blocks and send them through different paths in the network all ending up in his address. They have to arrive in a given amount of time, neither too quick nor too slow. This could be a 51% killer.
