I am looking to get a mining calculator up so people can work this out easily. What is your hashrate?
There are no exchanges up for this coin so any price given to these coins is highly speculative.

1200 :P What is more profitable at the moment? Mining FTC and change it for LTC or LTC itself? How many coins per month i am able to get?
I think the best thing you can do for that is read and understand Satoshi’s original whitepaper for Bitcoin and give them a general understanding of how cryptocurrencies work in general.

What a wonderful day! Finally back home from the university. Greetings all :DTY so much 8) to whoever was the kind and humble sir? sirs? miss? madam? mademoiselle :-* that provided me with the 32 total FC donation today. Class was a blast! Thracky, great call to bring in the exercise of reading, implementing, and understanding of Satoshi’s original whitepaper for Bitcoin; I also added in how the ideas of our everyday goals as well as the greater worldwide innovative financial context all have to start out small at some time and that is a BIG encouragement and motivation to my students as well as to all around the globe, I like to think. Yes, the egg came before the chicken, we love to debate that one ;)
Right now, my students and fellow TA are just testing the waters in the financial realm and beginner ethics, but my next step is to introduce the social aspects, financial/cultural consequences, and similar benefits, then move to how the new pop trend of crypto-currency is becoming more than just a passing fad. The polysci elements are also mesmerizing and we will have some very, very interesting debates.
Will our government come take away our lucky charms?
Again, TY to whoever donated the educational media today. As a matter of fact, I have a meeting scheduled with the Dean of Student Services early next week to try and hopefully garner university funding to actually buy FC from you guys as an educational teaching mechanism of both economics and business ethics. Wish me luck!!
This will easily be one of the funnest things I have ever done and is definitely one of the most creative and enjoyable projects I have worked on. The students have never had so much fun in my 3 years as TA. Thank you to the creators of Feathercoin and TY Satoshi!
Donations are GREATLY appreciated until our funding comes through. Thanks to everyone for helping and for reading/caring. Have a terrific night!
It certainly sounds like cryptocoins make an ideal subject to talk about. Not only can you talk about all the relevant topics but this is one that is going to gain the attention of the students. Good luck to you.

I’ve read almost everything that Joethesworn has said through these forums and others and honestly I think he’s full of it. I’d like to skype with you Joe to prove you are infact a teacher and are teaching about cryptos. Could you please provide the university name, phone number, and maybe contact information for the dean you are meeting with? I would like to call the dean and express my support for your program if it truly does exist.
