I’m a stock broker of 8 years, I have traded fiat for years and my company/family predicted the crash. I’m not just a FUD, I recognize each new currency for what it is. I have adopted many of the alt currencies. I will admit I do not like Feathercoin for the sole reason it added nothing to the overall security or code of Crypto currency. You may disagree with me but it is fairly clear to me that the markets have spoken. I post in every currency forum and I am real with every single one. Sometimes I am wrong and sometimes I am right, mostly I am right.

I don’t mean to be a FUD…but what happens when a copy cat of Litecoin comes out with 100 times the coins? The only “innovation” that feathercoin introduced was more coins…Someone literally copy pasted the code and then created a genesis block. And in 10 minutes something out of nothing.

I’m not saying it won’t have value, the pet rock sold for a buck and made a million bucks for the “creator”.

There have been several coins that have come out since FTC that have gotten the same amount of interest and hype. It’s all get rich quick hype.

This is exactly what I am talking about. Source code is public so we will have new alt currencies every single week. This is a coin based off litecoin…just like feathercoin…

Speculation will create value where there isn’t, beware new investors of both Cncoin and Feathercoin.

A lot of new investors are going to learn very quick what speculation and bubble mean.

I agree and having read Ian111112’s post I suppose it is part ‘Fear Of Failure’ on my part, but deep down I still feel that the currency that will be accepted by the wider (non-Geek audience - easy for Grandma etc,etc) will be the one with the easiest learning curve - maybe the one that has at least 8 Billion mintage - and enough so everyone can have at least [s]one[/s] 1.00000000 or preferably 100.00000000 and then as the decimal shifts (which granted it will) it becomes a natural world wide event of gradual, further and ongoing acceptance.
