Litecoin Forum was hacked : Check your passwords
-
It seems a Litecoin Admin had his account hacked by social engineering.
I’ve done some extra analysis of long term Litecoin difficulty, based on a 4 day sample period, to see if that was effected by the hack …
-
Hacks are going to happen. This is why ladies and gentlemen you should use a strong unique password for every website, cause when hacks happen, which they will, you haven’t given the keys to every website with the same credentials.
@xonar why such hate? :disappointed:
-
no hate from me, only the phrase “Do we need to add Litecoin to the Feathercoin forum Alt Coins sub section?” make me laugh, no hate from me…
-
Yeah, sucks to see this. Its been down for awhile now, I dont visit reddit much so I have not kept up on the latest of the situation.
-
@xonar gotcha! haha sorry.

Re: Litecoin network dying ?
I think it’s the effect of ETH and increase in price of bitcoin. Most of people are moving to eth from other alts. And I have also heard that there is no active dev team of litecoin.
-
In my opinion the litecoin dev team exist but choice to work hidden.
Anyway about ETH I think it’s not really a cryptocoin but a cryptotaxi… because the ETH blockchain carry inside a lot of extraneous information from the coin value. It’s also inflationary because ETH is the fuel of it’s services inside. In the future the ETH system will be used from banks and others corporations, and please… we are not a corporation.
The actual bitcoin price is caused in my point of view of the US Dollar problems, a lot of bad news about the USA economy and the futures presidential elections carry the bitcoin up over and over the USD…
ops… but this reply may be off topics, sorry. :)

There is an active dev team for Litecoin however i do feel they work in secret a lot.

That’s sort of good to hear, Charlie Lee still seems to be in charge.
-
@wrapper Yeah I think he is still lead dev.
