My letter to Martine Nouet, a whisky writer living in Islay
-
_Dear Martine Nouet,
I am writing to you on behalf of Feathercoin community. Feathercoin is a no. 3 decentralized currency, after Bitcoin and Litecoin, launched at Oxford University. Our goal is simply to make Feathercoin as good as we can.
Trying to make sure that the transition to coin-based economy will itself not cause an economic disaster, we are featuring industrial and agricultural value creators, whom we want to prioritize in our white market infrastructure.
I already featured examples of inventors as neglected industrial value creators. In agriculture, however, I would like to avoid concentrating on exotics. The most important crop for us is grain, and one of the most important grain products is, undeniably, whisky.
Feathercoin is in a situation similar to your beloved Islay whiskies. Many whisky drinkers around the world drink notorious suprmarket brands, having no idea what they are missing out on by ignoring Islay. Likewise, many decentralized currency users have no idea what they are missing out on by ignoring Feathercoin.
I am featuring you as a prime example that a brand writer doesn’t have to be a mercenary without conscience. Connoiseurs know that you write from your heart and promote that, which you consider truly good. I am providing a link to you for the benefit of our readers:
So, to our readers who do not know Islay whiskys, such as most Asians, I advise: Next time you are buying whisky, try Islay. And to you, Martine Nouet, I advise: Once you feel safer about using decentralized currencies, contact me. I have 100 Feathercoins stashed away just for you, they will buy you a cask of Laprohaig 10 year old one day.
