panoramix, sorry, could you clarify what you mean by that please? :)

Ignore them, build the trust around the network, surely you shouldn’t even be considering building bonds to FIAT worlds?
You all keep clinging to a corrupt and dying system, and it is dying.
A new system requires new rules

That was my response to Flodbeth’s polarizing post against “authorities”. Jan Huston invested a lot of time and thought into the design of desirable sociopolitical system evolution and distilled it into a paper. So instead of discussing for years, we can just achive a lot of shared understanding by reading the paper. That’s work he has done for us, without knowing who we are.
-
Link then please ??

I already provided the link once, in “Off topic” section. But I consider this is not so much off topic for us, considering that I know of no other [r]evolution theorist with the same level of dedication, and I did search. Nick Bostrom from Oxford is damn good, probably better than Huston, but his studies are on higher level and not directly concerned with sociopolitical [r]evolution. Here is the link:

Jan Huston also published an earlier paper in 1992. Since then, the things he said are looking less and less like fantasy and more and more like reality.

You did not find reason. If our development, marketing, there is good progress, the price is likely to stabilize. We need to avoid the problem of the exchange center. They may increase the coins in the trading system database,Then sell coins, profit interests. So I’m interested in NXT methods,BTSX is also a good choice.
In addition,I think we need fund for paying devs.

Let’s not be foolish for the sake of ideology. This is the middle way.
-
Nothing foolish about looking for workarounds to a broken and dying system, foolish is embracing it with an integrity based system.
I’m tired of fighting the world, go ahead, let the powers that be wreck the greatest opportunity humankind has had in decades. I don’t expect many of you will understand my ways of thinking, but that’s cool, you’ll catch up eventually ;)
I don’t want to argue, nor am I going to bother discussing it anymore, I know it’s a waste of my time, I’m outnumbered 7 billion to 1. I’ll stay quiet from now on, bite my tongue, I shall go back to being a good little sheep. Apologies to you all for daring to be so foolish.
Good luck with whatever you all decide

@Flobdeth I wouldn’t take anything personally this is just a discussion and we are essentially a mini democracy and its unlikely we can agree on everything.
I like the CIC idea (although we may be able to go full charity which would mean tax breaks)
I think one reason to set one up (or even just a standard company) would be to shield ourselves from the government and tax office as if we start to do anything with fiat investments or moving fiat around we may be liable for tax and it can get pretty serious pretty fast. We can still have all the same ideals and ideas etc but we would also have an official standing in the eyes of the law.
I know this may not be everyones ideal scenario but if we just treat it like a hurdle we must climb to get to where we want it may be easier to handle.

I am under impression that its unlikely we can agree on anything.
-
Write the democratic process into the incorporation docs, then disagreements shouldn’t be a problem. Make sure that the process isn’t so long winded that nothing gets done and we will progress faster without talking in circles.
-
Well what we need to get to is a question that we agree on. Then we can make it a yes/no vote and then its democracy in actiom

Our situation resembles that of Ijon Tichy on his Seventh Voyage. (Ijon Tichy is a fictional character invented by Stanislaw Lem, whose son I am yet to invite to our community.):

I’m hoping the CIC could support the Neoscrypt network as a whole. If it does, I’ll gladly donate Neoscrypt.com to the CIC.
