Talk at Lloyds on why we started our own currency

Okay a bit last minute. I had a talk booked in at Lloyds Bank on Bitcoin but now my friend Max who works there has asked me to centre it around Feathercoin and why we chose to start our own currency. I will mix up the presentation I did in Amsterdam but if you guys have any pictures or particular stories you want me to share please send them in here.

The presentation was basically to give them an insight on how easy it is to create your own crypto, how we did it and why.

That was great thanks Chris. I think the highlight was the “bankers are people too” comment. Its true and to be fair 90% or more of the people who work in banks have no control either and really are just carrying out tasks defined at a higher level. I don’t think the majority even understand what there role means in respect to the overarching system.
But I guess its going to be too late by the time they realise what is actually happening with crypto and the effect its going to have on the banking sector. It’s nice to see them taking an interest tho but I’m guessing its more of a personal interest from individuals than something on Lloyd’s business plan.
